Fantastic news you got your wedding booked. Now let the fun begin, all the lovely organising dresses, flowers, invitations etc. Congratulations, and it will be round before you know it.

Shame you're still having to wait for an appointment re your mouth, hope it comes through soon. Might be worth giving the hospital a wee phone to ask how long they think you will have to wait - you never know it might help hurry things along.

Anyways, really pleased for you re your wedding. :j

  • Awww congratulations YB - glad to hear the date is set! Full speed ahead now then eh?!

Sounds like the abscess or whatever it is might be on the mend too - I'm relieved for you that the pain is less.

heheh what a good day then Hales x

Mouth is OK, still there but I can get on with life and not notice it 90% of the time now so can live with it until the hospital get in touch.

I have the day off today so have to be productive. (still in pj's lol). Lots of housework to do and want to make some more jewellery when DD is at nursery this afternoon.

It's also free listing on ebay so will find some bits and list them tonight.

We worked out that there were 366 days until our wedding needs to be paid for (from yesterday) so that gives us a target of £14 per day to give us plenty of room to pay for everything plus a bit left over.

So the challenge is to make / save as much as we can and keep the wedding within or under budget as much as possible. I know my MIL is giving us money towards the wedding as our present but don't know how much. I'm still sticking to my target of £14 per day and anything we receive will be a bonus but I'm not relying on it.

Yesterday I just transferred the £14 over to savings. I have a £15 eye test receipt to claim back from work, about £6 in paypal, bits on ebay so will keep plugging away at that, and promote the jewellery as much as I can.

Just did the shopping and got a £5 off code to work so that will automatically be transferred across.

OH's car is still not right even when we got it back so we are going to see my brother at the weekend to see if there is anything else we can do or if we should just get rid of it now. We are also giving him some cash for helping us out which we could do without, but we appreciate his help so it's a no brainer really and he deserves it.

    Must crack on!

Thank goodness it's the weekend. I have put a few bits on ebay yesterday and today.
We are paying the deposit on our venue tomorrow which should be fun.
  • No going back after that YB - now are you sure?!!! :rotfl:
