Let's put some positive back into this thread. Got an email this afternoon to say I have won some toni and guy shampoo and conditioner.

I can look back to see that this year and diary wasn't all doom and gloom.

LOL. Nice to win something. I won 2 lots of £5 last week on the free scrathcards and if you'd seen me, you'd think I had won £500 not £5!

It feels like it's been a good day today and I really needed it.

Dentist was patronising this morning and told me I have problems (duh yes that's why I went to see you). But this time he confirmed what I thought about where the infection was whuch wasn't what he said last time, so I have more antibiotics and can go back for root canal (which I'll happily do to get rid of the infection).
Best thing about it was my stomach didn't flip at all before going in. I think I have been so many times, I'm used to him now.

We lost DD's bag at a party on Sunday and when I phoned they didn't have it. It wasn't a major issue bu had clothes and her hat and scarf in etc. We had only just got the hat back after leaving it at her Granny's before going on holiday, ust to lose it the next day. I phoned again tonight just on the off chance and they have it so OH is picking that up on his way home.

DD had her swine flu jab this evening and she didn;t even wimper, I was so proud of her. She had some calpol and a bag of choccie buttons and didn;t go to sleep for a while but that was my choice to give them to her (buttons for being good, calpol to prevent pain), so fingers crossed she doesn't get any reaction to it.

Our car has an MOT now and was fixed but has an oil leak, so once that's fixed (fingers crossed) we'll have the car back, and life may start to return to normal.
Still don't know on the cost but whatever, I'm past caring about that now.

Anyhow it feels like there is a light at the end of the tunnel today, so long may it continue.

Sorry to hear a root canal is needed but at least you're more relaxed about the dentist now!
Good news about DD's bag. Hope swine flu jab was ok. Mine made my arm very sore for a few days and needed ibuprofen but no other reaction.

DD was so good, and she hasn't complained about anything since the jab so fingers crossed.

Great news on the win too! Isn't it exciting when a win comes through! I used to do a lot of competitions last year but have hardly done one in the last few months, I really need to get back into it as we had some really nice wins - I won a wii which we hid away for 8 months and gave to me niece for her birthday, and we also won a weekend break in Barcelona as well as a few other smaller prizes.
Fingers crossed for a big win soon eh?

Glad your daughter's got her bag back and is doing ok after the jab too.
