Nooo EH you're always way ahead of me in ideas. Need to think about what gets done over the next few days.

I think the first job is the monthly budget and keeping track of that. Anything surplus that didn't get spent goes to one pot or other. Then it's the meal planning and food in general as this is a very weak area of mine.

Just as everyone seemed to be getting double bonuses on BB, I logged in to find my time had ended. Oh well. Now OH has (ahem) signed up and he won £10 this morning so we're (he's) £5 up already which is nice.

Cacky work shift later, - yuk

Thanks girls, it is such a nice feeling. I almost can't wait for xmas to be done so I can stop spending money lol.
Haven't made anything in the last couple of days, but OH is doing BB now so hopefully something to come. I'm working tomorrow morning as an extra so that money will be put away when I get it.

Today we're going out shopping for a new camera for me for xmas, and I think I'm getting a new coat for my birthday (which isn;t until xmas but it's cold so I can have it now)

I ordered OH his xmas pressies yesterday and I paid £30 in the end but that included 2 memory cards and an adapter, so I was well chuffed with that.

I know what you mean about looking forward to not spending money after Christmas! I have just started my shopping, although I do have some stuff from last year's Boots sale and I'm already kind of thinking about January's pay!! That's great you getting OH's prezzie for only £30. I know you have worked hard to get your points/vouchers for the bulk of it so you must be pleased with that. Hope you're not too busy at work. Have a great weekend.

Shopping trip went well. I chose a new coat for my birthday and it was £50 with a poss 20% off. OH took it to the till and it rang through for £24.99 bargain.
I also got my new camera and am using it now as ours was broken anyway. It means I wont get a lot on xmas morning, but hey ho it;s not about the grown ups in our house.
    Shattered now.
