I was never a radish lover until DH prepped them for me as a starter in his mothers favourite way. each radish halved, buttered, like bread, and sprinkled with sea salt. A dish greater than the sum f its parts, great with a light drink on a warm evening.

I have monster, carrot size radishes - and about 20 of them. Will try lostinrates recipe tonight, and will try some in a risotto tomorrow. Honestly, 1 per day will feed the 5 of us!!! :-)

My courgette plant has gone from flower to huge in a week, and we are eating strawberries with every pudding.....

Joke snack for children - frankfurter in a bread roll, cut a sliver off the end of the frankfurter where it sticks out of the bread roll and put a slice of radish on so that it looks like a fingernail with a red edge on the end of a finger in a bun. It looks totally gruesome!!

I appreciate it won't make much inroads into a glut of radishes, however
