Bummer about the Bank Charges for people. I really do think they should be a percentage of the amount that you go overdrawn, £35 for 70-odd pence is horrendous.

I'm stuck on a work meeting tonight, possibly until 9pm :( I don't want to go as I have no idea what I'm saying or anything. Mass panic!

  • hi all - am at work (but finished at 5 so the internet police can't touch me if I am chosen to be looked at this month ;) ) and am doing my teaching prep. for next week until 6. Will be going into our salon then for a haircut - £4.50 - bargainous.

Good job I held back on the bag I have been drooling after. My power steering has been a bit 'funny' for well over a year - bit spongy after letting go of the wheel after full lock, nasty squeak when it gets to full lock and just feeling a bit not right. Started to turn into a space in the car park this morning and it just sent - nothing, only just got it into the space, steering was rock solid. Anyway, caretaker here looked at it and whizzed it back - no problem

Dropped it in the garage opposite me and they said the steering belt was 'hanging off' and so they tightened it - they said it must have come off altogether as I came into the parking space and then back into the groove as the caretaker tried it. anyway, this should now solve all the niggly problems and they checked all the steering related parts and there are no other issues.

£50  but better that and be safe rather than stick my head in the sand and have no steering round a roundabout.

right - haircut time - about time too - not had it cut since July :rotfl:

You're looking for individuals to use certain words, make a list of the corporate lingo such as 'touch base' capture, scribe etc...

cross them off the list each time the words are used.

Good evening! I just had to throw dinner away, it was so vile. Completely mislabelled the herbs I'd cut from the garden and frozen, and ended up with a huge handful of mint instead of coriander in my quorn keema. It was yuck, yuck, yuck.

Have bunged a pizza in for the kids. :o

Bookie - sorry to hear it's so pants for you at the moment.

Linda - hope the shoulder gets better and wtg on your weight loss.

Evening everyone else - just going to check if my sushi is warm enough :D
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T
  • Life isn't really pants - just scary.
It will get worse before it (if) gets better but it is all my fault and no more than I deserve. I was a rubbish wife and a rubbish businesswoman. I shouldn't have let it get this bad and now I am getting the results of my stupidity.
That is not self pity just facing the facts. And about time too. :D

I will now go to my home group with some lovely new Christians and pretend to be something they want to be - assured in faith and confident that him upstairs has a plan and all will be well. :rotfl:

    No platitudes please.
Have a good evening. Catch you all later. x
