Oh Notting Hill is lovely! '..just a girl standing in front of a boy...' etc etc!!
Have a good cry, but do it whilst you're ironing and the tears can help the process along! Sometimes having a cry can make you feel better and by doing it because of Julia and Hugh, then that's OK!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

Would that be Miracle on 34th Street, by any chance? I'm guessing not, now that I've thought about it. That one's got a happy ending.

Oh, I didn't know there was more than one version. I've got the version with the girl from Matilda in it.

Totally agree QB, it's better to get the tears out otherwise they build up inside and bring you down.

Bit late perhaps, but for SRM, when you take the shoes back to the shop, if they're funny about replacement mention the sale of goods act 1979 which states that goods sold must be fit for purpose and last a reasonable amount of time- 10 weeks isn't reasonable for shoes, especially not £39 shoes!
