I usually find dooyoo to be quite prompt with payment. I cashed my first cheque on July 2nd and had it with me by the 13th, so I was really impressed :) Here's hoping they keep up the same standard from now on.

  • I've been a member of DooYoo since May and I have never had a problem. I went for the £50 cheque for my first pay out and got the cheque quicker than I thought I would and had no problems. I haven't used the site as much as I thought I would this summer but trying to review and rate again to build up my miles. Not sure whether to wait for the £50 again or just go for the Amazon vouchers.

I am now getting a bit worried. Sent for amazon vouchers on the 27th august i think. I recieved a confirmation of my order, but not yet recieved my code. I know its early days, but im getting concerned. I have had a lot of reviews locked but I have edited them to get them unlocked. I have had a couple of warnings in the very early days, but I just hope they dont close my account. I think it is unfair they are doing this to people.

I lost a lot of money because they closed my account down. I had a few warnings when I joined (very minor offenses which I actually asked for clarification via email prior to them finding out) and I had several reviews locked too. You are right to be worried.
  • I think it's a bit early to be getting worried. I've got my gift codes through about a week after the confirmation email, so if you requested your vouchers on 27th, don't forget there was a bank holiday, so this is only the 5th working day since your request. Don't panic. If they've confirmed it, there's no reason to think it won't come through. I'd give it another couple of days and if you still haven't heard, contact them.

The rules aren't hard to follow and I've not heard of anyone who stuck to them having any payment problems.

Did you get these in the end?

I cashed in my dooyoo points for an amazon voucher on Sunday (5th), and got my code today - worked great! :D That's been used to start my Christmas shopping! lol
  • I have had no issues with dooyoo. Send a cheque out within about 7-10 days of me asking

I've been having a terrible time with dooyoo trying to cash in my points for a £20 Amazon voucher. I originally cashed them out in January and I have yet to receive my Amazon voucher. First they said it was due to locked reviews so I brushed up on the locked ones, they unlocked them and told me they had sent the voucher.... I emailed and said I hadn't received it then last week they said they have cancelled the old voucher and sent another one which I have yet to receive so I have emailed them again chasing. They dont always respond which is highly annoying as you have to keep re-emailing them every few days prompting them to reply.

I'm so glad I was skeptical of this website and only done the bare minmum required to cash out... As soon as I got to the cash out threshold I stopped writing reviews as I wanted proof that they actually pay out.... good job as well as it seems like trying to get blood out of a stone!

I emailed them this morning chasing and I have just had a response from them:

thank you for your e-mail. Very soon means almost immediately, but maybe up to an hour or two. I have resent it for the third time - are you keeping an eye on your junk mail?

We do have issues like this occasionally, however usually on the second time it makes it through. I can assure you that we have requested your voucher, and that we do pay members whose reviews meet our minimum requirements.

Please let me know how you get on. If it hasn't arrived by tomorrow, perhaps I could try another email address?

    Best regards,

    Your dooyooTeam

I can confirm that the Amazon voucher has now been received. I think I first redeemed this on around the 6th January! So it took over 3 months to receive but alas at least they do actually pay their members. I do really like the Dooyoo website and interface, its quite nice I was just skeptical about the paying but maybe I was just unlucky.

I'm actually quite happy now I've received this!
