Dooyoo miles??

Hello, I was wondering if anyone else has experience of using this site, cashed in my miles about 2 and half weeks ago at least now, and still nothing through the post chequewise. No response from the help team or anything. Does it usually take a while? Bit concerned as just cashed another lot in and that makes £100 I'm waiting for. Ta for any replies in advance.

I'm in a similar boat hun cashed in on the 2nd November and despite emailing them to the email addresses suggested I've just been ignored :-( x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

  • Same thing happened to me the first time I cashed out - I put in my request on 11th September, then I finally got a response on 7th October saying that some of my reviews weren't up to scratch (although they wouldn't specify which ones!). Eventually got my Amazon voucher the next day, after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing and review editing!!

Last time I requested a cash out was 6th November and had my voucher by 12th without any complaints - so much quicker!

I'd suggest double-checking that all your reviews are up to scratch (they don't like "waffle", so any introductory text to your review doesn't count towards your 150 words - best to go to 250/300 words minimum IMO) then try emailing them again.
  • Thanks for your replies!! Yes they are usually over 500 :D and maybe I will request amazon next time, as seems to be quicker, tbh I just did rather fancy the cash!! All the reviews should be fine I got crowns for some so they should be acceptable hopefully!! Let me know if you hear off them, maybe they have a backlog? Not desperate for it but would have been nice as we all have to spends a fair amount of time to get there in the 1st place!!x

  • It can sometimes take a while for a cheque. My last one was 2 weeks which seems about the average. Amazon vouchers are generally quicker. Just make sure all your reviews are good and contain plenty of opinion and you should be fine. I have seen you and rated you on Dooyoo (I am jeffjen on there)
  • Hi Jen, I will wait and sit tight and see what happens, maybe next time I will go for Amazon vouchers then :D I knew using the same username would expose me haha!

  • Still nothing! And no reply from them.

  • Anyone know how I can get hold of them it has been a month since I cashed in my miles for a cheque and no replies to 3 emails so I'm on the verge of getting a little miffed!!! TIA. In the mean time I have also requested my 2nd cheque so am waiting for 2 cheques now.

This happened to me the first time I cashed my miles in for a cheque. I emailed support and did get a reply but that was several months ago and there are a lot more members now so maybe they're not so good at replying now. The reply stated that there was a backlog in sending out cheques. I think it was about a month before I received the cheque (although subsequent cheques have come much quicker). Perhaps in the run-up to Christmas and with so many members now they are just a bit slow in getting redemptions sent out? Fingers crossed that you get your cheque soon!
