Dooyoo miles??

I have just over 30,000 Dooyoomiles, if I cash them in for an Amazon voucher, does the voucher last forever? or does it expire after so long? I ask because I have no plans to buy anything at the moment from Amazon.
I'm pretty sure they last around 12 months after you've put them onto your amazon account but i'm sure it will say somewhere on the amazon web siteI just had 2 of my reviews locked and a formal warning that if any more of my reviews are in breach of the rules, my account will be closed.
I wrote a review for the video game "GTA IV" on PS3 and copy/pasted it over to another review for the video game "GTA IV" on PC. The start and middle of the review were almost identical (which is in breach of Dooyoo rules) but I wrote 200 words after that with brand new content, yet my review was still locked.
I'm a bit confused I thought it was ok to post reviews on Dooyoo that also appear on other site too as long as they are your own work. If worth mentioning at the end of your review that the review appears elsewhere under your other user name. I use to add reviews to Dooyoo that I had created elsewhere but usually under the same username and I put that in the review.
I'm getting nervous about writing for Dooyoo at the moment as lots of people seem to be having problems with locked reviews, locked accounts and no payouts.
I just written 1 review this year but want to write more but only when I'm confident that I will be paid for them. For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.0 -

I think you misunderstood me. I wrote a review for a video game on DooYoo, the video game was GTA IV (on the PS3 console). I copy/pasted the review I just wrote again on DooYoo but under another product (GTA IV on PC). I then edited this review slightly but half of it is indentical to the PS3 version. I added 150-200 additional words to ensure I don't get into trouble as a duplicator, yet my review was still locked! The game is indentical but on different systems so of course my review is going to have some things the same.
I made sure I wrote over 150 words on the PC review of GTA IV that was new content compared to the PS3 review but obviously, the DooYoo stuff are too dumb to see this. I am furious and this is not the only review of mine that's been locked!0 -
I think you will find that you are in clear breach of the rules on Dooyoo regarding posting the same review under a different category (although I appreciate you have edited it slightly.)
3. Post each review only once.
Although some products in the dooyoo catalogue may be similar, they are not the same, and therefore posting the same review under numerous different products is not useful to users of dooyoo. Trying to collect extra dooyooMiles in this way will likely result in your account being closed.

Copying and pasting the same review might seem like a quick way to bump up your miles but it is really not worth it in the long run as it is classed as Dooyoo abuse.
There is no reason why anybody posting good quality reviews and following the Dooyoo rules around posting would have their reviews locked or payment refused.
I've never had any problems with Dooyoo payments personally.0 -
Sorry yes I understand now same game different console. Still seems unfair to me to lock it as parts were bound to be the same and you made sure over 150 words weren't the same.
I think reading and rating review helps keeps accounts open. I've heard of people nearing the payout limit after writing all review and getting there accounts blocked as they weren't getting into the Dooyoo community and read and rating others reviews. For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.0 -
jo_b, I am aware of the rules and as stated, I have written an additional 150-200 words that are not in the original review. I don't see this as rule breaking, do you?0

Actually, I do and can completely understand why Dooyoo have locked them. They want unique consumer reviews each time and for the majority of the two reviews to be identical then, yes, I would say that breaks the rules.0 -

But Dooyoo requires only 150 words to be satisfied with your review enough to offer you DooYoo miles. Since I have 150 words of originally new content, what does it matter that I wrote more words that happened to be in another review? Do you suggest I write around 150 words and delete the remainder of my review which happens to contain lots of useful words?
I strongly disagree with this but respect your opinion.0 -
After a horrible experience with Dooyoo, would anyone be able to direct me to some other review sites?0

The main competitor is http://www.ciao.co.uk/ but you're unlikely to make a great deal of money on there unless you are prepared to spend a lot of time reading and rating other people's reviews and can write reasonably good reviews.
Unlike Dooyoo, Ciao doesn't pay an amount per review, you just earn a small amount for each positive rating you receive. There is also a Premium Review fund which is divided amongst the most highly rated reviews once a month.0 -
I've spent the past week reviewing everything in the house, well, I only did it a few evenings of the week, and already I'm two reviews away from the 20k mark!! I wouldn't be if I hadn't had two of my reviews locked, I can understand why one of them was locked, it was the only review on my acc I didn't think was any good but the other I'm perplexed. But oh well, I'll just find something else to review I guess.
As long as this pays out for the hours I've put in I don't mind.0
