    Scam scam scam.
Ignore them, block their email address and block their Ebay ID (if that is possible after they've been NARU'd)

Just stating that you won't send overseas will not stop a repeat of a scam buyer. You must set your selling preferences to UK only for this auction.

Set your bidder preferences very tightly.

As you have bidders already you may not be able to do this now but if you have to relist again you should use this link.
  • just an update...... i have now received an email from ebay stating that my account will be suspended within 24 hours for not sending the item as the buyer has apparently reported me even though they have not paid, are no longer registered etc. I dont understand, how can ebay do this to me when they have refunded my FVF and he has closed his account. Do ebay expect me to send an item before receiving payment? If they close my account it will mean the end of my business that I have worked hard to build up.

    Oh really.
Is it addressed to 'Dear Ebay User'?
Almost certainly a spoof email. Paste it here and we'll confirm!
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

Good idea could be another part of the scam. Just curious did 'ebay' remove your other listings and surely they wouldn't wait to suspend your account they would just do it? I think thats right.
  • doesnt seem to want to be pasted for some reason, yes it is addressed dear ebay user. it's titled unposter item strike. it says if i post the item and confirm the tracking number they will not suspend my account. i have just over 50 other listings which have not been taken off.

also seems odd that there are quite a few grammatical errors (I know my grammar is not the best but still....)

"If you failed to corporate by end of time you will loose your rights to be ebay seller and buyer"

I am skeptical but worried at the same time. have emailed ebay but no response. If this is true my account will be closed later tonight and I will lose a chunk of my income as it states i cannot open another account ever.
