I'm thinking about the coach option - is it completely overpriced, or is it worth it, not to have the hassle of driving all the way there and back...? How much would we spend on petrol from Bristol to the ferry and then on to Paris...? Plus parking, and is there anything else we would have to pay for ie road tolls etc? Is there other advantages to having your own car with you, or would it be worth paying £165 for three of us to go by coach...?
I'd appreciate input from someone who's done it before!
    Thanks a lot.
we always usually drive ( went on Eurrostar one time)
we use tesco clubcard deals for Eurotunnel and we don't paay for fuel with hubbys company car ...

you can get an idea of fuel costs and tolls here : http://www.viamichelin.co.uk/

parking is 15 euros per day in the disney park carpark ... but i recommend parking in the Disney Village multistorey carpark forr 8 euros per day

Does anybody else not find the issue of the 'Adult' age absolutely disgusting  How would any other industry be allowed to class an Adult as somebody who is 11 years old. An 11 year old cannot even be left alone in the house, cannot vote, cannot drive, cannot buy cigarettes or alcohol etc etc.
How does this industry get away with this, it really gets on my nerves!! rant over!

    I agree :(
  • It is age 10 in Florida and then you get charged as an adult for all the theme parks. I do think it is fair if they cna go on the attractions at that age - maybe they should go by height instead though. They do not even offer free child stays or tickets in Florida unless they are under 3 so at least they give that in DLP. Just the park tickets for Walt Disney World are around on £250 for an adult. DLP really is good value for money. You can get hotel, park tickets and breakfast, for less than £80 a day for 4 people at usual prices.

Don't forget, if you go by Eurotunnel, if you take the fast road you need to pay the tolls which are 20.40 Euros each way. The toll free road can take twice as long.
  • I rang the phone number and was told the information about a £37 supplement to return the next day is false. It costs £87 to do this. Apparently, the information in the original moneysaver email is wrong although if you find out differently let me know.

We used the deal last year to get in for £9.50 but went out and back with Eurotunnel (around £80) and stayed in a formule 1 hotel (£30 a night) for a few nights so that we had time in Paris too. It was great and worked out as an incredibly cheap family holiday. We squeezed in a bit of culture as well in the big city, going to the louvre and Arc de Triomphe. We ate baguettes with salami to save masses of money. We are definitely planning on doing it again this year.

Just noticed in the T&C for the Sun Disneyland offer :

The £9.50 day trip offer is limited to the first 92,500 correctly completed and received application forms.
