how do i remove postage from an ebay invoice

At this point, I'd be thinking of exercising the right to leave a neg for the seller. Failing that, create a new ebay account (never post with your normal ID) and post on the ebay discussion board with your situation, the lynch mob will sort the seller out for you

Is there a white box with postage in it? If so then you should be able to edit that.

Click to pay for ebay items (ignore the bit that says about ebay checkout) it then will want your ebay login and it should get the details from the listing (including the auction number) That may work

Is it possible that this seller is using a carrier? I believe that even in zero postage categories charges can be made for this. You need to check that they actually do use a carrier and not send with RM.

i have paid the way you suggested cyberbob , and was able to remove the postage

well i had the payment refunded and a request to pay the full amount including postage .

i contacted the seller through ebay and pointed out she was not allowed to charge P+P so would she send an invoice minus the P+P

to which she replied :
it should of been put under courier so i am cancelling and readvertising,unfortunately i thought listing in ad was sufficient, i will NOT be selling at 1p julie x

i have now been sent a request to cancel transaction , Reason for request: The seller says that you have returned or will be returning the item for a refund.

so do i accept or decline ?

Decline. Otherwise you cannot open an item not received dispute, which will be marked against them also you will not be able to give them the neg they deserve

I agree, decline and if there is still a reason box (and ebay is so glitchy at the moment that I have no idea what is going on anymore) explain that you won the item at 1p and would still be happy to get the item but seller declined to sell.

i have declined . there was no reason box , it just said case closed

she has relisted the book and several other still starting at 1p . now postage is courier/freight , but she has the postage price via royal mail in the listing !

just recieved this message : hi i have returned your money i CAN not afford to send a item out costing me £4, for 1p, there was a mistake in the advert, so can you please help

so do i reply or ignore ?
