Time on the market

Invitations open to everyone, but I thought you didn't like me doozer..!!!
You only live once. No point in being the richest man/girl in the graveyard!!:D0 -
Have to agree with whats been said on here already. The photo of the pylon, why is it on there, get the agent to remove it. The garden photo appears to have rubbish sacks in the bottom left hand corner, the photo of the dining area looks unprepared for photos. Decor can have a big effect on how people feel about a property.
A house further up appears to be on the market with another agent, how long for & what response have they had? Don't be afraid to ask, if its a two bedroom property it will be competing for the same buyers as you.

Do prospective buyers actually give any constructive feedback?
This looks like a FTB property. Many FTBs buy with their hearts and not their heads. 'It just wasn't right for us' is not positive feedback.
Jorgan, you can probably offer an answer to this0 -
We did when we were looking as my oh and I both work in sales. We were very frustrated when we were selling and not getting any feedback. If your products not stacking up against the market then you need to know!
One place we went to look at was on at £365000 for a 3 storey town house, 3 beds and it was tatty! In our mind you were paying for the view which where we live is worthless as you leave the house and return home in the dark for 9 months of the year because of the commute into town! We told the estate agent we thought it was overpriced.
Also, never underestimate the power of the internet. We did all our hunting online every weekend before deciding what to go and see. If the house looked pokey or dingey from the photos we didn't bother. ITs a very competitive market out there! Make sure the photos from the agent show you in the best possible light0 -

Yes, buyers do give positive feedback, some have to pushed a little to get it out of them, but it is usually forth coming. If the feedback is 'it just wasn't right for us' the next question is 'why not?' I've had people tell me today that the 3rd bedroom was too small, the property was too overlooked & one said the property needed too much work.
Somethings can't be changed, you can't push walls out, but if 15 out of 20 people say its too small, they may mean that they have seen a larger property for similar money, which means the small house may be overpriced.0 -

Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

when has anyone EVER heard anyone else say
"did you see those truly fabulous photographs on those house details ?!"
i have never seen any fabulous ones, except in those glossy A4 million pound property brochures .......
btw - i would put cream coloured throws over the settee - its a very dark colour, and makes the room look even smaller.0 -
Bob, Tass, I remember that conversation. I think that was when I invited myself.
I do like you Tass. :kisses2:
I've got to move house now. There's nothing in this one except the computer! See you in a couple of days! :wave:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
