ok so I'm well into overpaying 3rd mortgage. I totted up two Asd4 APG's and threw the total at the OPment. A whopping £3+ worth!:rotfl::money:Mortgage free I: 8th December 2009!

Well, got my salary with the bonus and a hefty chunk had gone in tax, far more than I reckoned with (about £700 more!!)
Can just cover some garden landscaping but nothing massively extra for the mortgage, meal out or otherwise... Am a bit gutted TBH but hey ho that's life. Happy Monday everyone!Mortgage free I: 8th December 2009!

So this time of year we get a bonus at work, but for some reason the payslips are late into our systems, which means I can't check how much is being paid. It's really annoying when trying to budget for the month ahead. Usually they are not this late arriving in the month! :shocked:Mortgage free I: 8th December 2009!

#79 reporting total overpayments for October came to £1226.43
Thanks and have a great weekend everyone!
Morning all,
I've maxed out on available overpayments this week, but I'm still lagging behind on my MFW2017 target by some distance. I think I need to catch up on the lack of big overpayments I didn't make over the summer. Thankfully its payday soon and that also means an extra overpayment from rental income.
I'm looking to get to a point in the mortgage that I can remortgage to a better deal in 2018 to reduce the interest payments going out. My overpayments will then have more bang for their buck against outgoing interest. All part of my long-term plan!Mortgage free I: 8th December 2009!

OMG I haven't posted in my own thread for nearly 12 months
Since then, I have taken on some of the MFW2018 work and also continued to regularly overpay, but slightly behind my 2018 target of 13k due to wanting also to make sure I contribute as much as possible to my 18/19 S&S ISA.
Probably 70/30 split in favour of the ISA at the moment but the closer I get to the year end then this may swing towards the mortgage as the deadline for that comes first on 31/12.Mortgage free I: 8th December 2009!
