Just because wayne and coleen have it, and they are chavs, doesn't mean all chavs can have it, because most chavs don't earn 100k plus a week.
If you can't afford something, don't get it. tell your kids, they can't have something. It won't kill them.
I hate all these people that expect to be able to afford a house, a car, holidays, everything they want, when they only earn 20k a year or whatever.
Wake up and smell the coffee. The poor should live like the poor and the rich like the rich.
The best thing they could do in this country is ban loans and credit cards for those earning under 50k a year.
There will be some initial pain, but after 10 years or so, we will all be better off.
White horse, ther are no rich or poor, just PEOPLE.
& as I've said on another thread, I may not earn megabucks like you. I may not own a house. I may not have all the trappings you have. But I do have the love of a good woman. So I am considerably richer than thou.
& I am not as ignorant or dogmatic either...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

its not unreasonable. failure to pay rent is simply theft. Its no different than going to Tesco and taking a load of food and not paying for it - saying "its been a bit of a tough month".
these people are scum (not those who lost their jobs, but those who spend their income on xmas and turkey dinners before paying their rent).
Always good to see seasonal compassion:rolleyes:
I just wish more people would get out of the Provi, Brighthouse mentality. Credit unions, the way forward. I did some volly work this time last year there and it was good to see folk coming in with a fiver, fifteen quid or what ever they had and paying in. Some savvy people had been paying in all year and got a nice cheque to spend at Christmas.
Sometimes reading articles like the one on the link can pull me up in my tracks and realise just how fortunate I am.0 -
