make sure he keeps the messages where she says if i dont have x amount of money you will not see your daughter, these will help you immensly
as for the money i would say stop paying and go to the csa but then she may try to use it against you in court , not that the majority of the judges will listen you only need one who will
Get your oh to write a letter stating he will only pay what the csa expect him to pay which is x amount.
What are the current contact arrangements?
all good points, except..............
MONEY. let her mention it in court and see how far it gets her she'll get an earful of the judge.
seriously, judges HATE money matters being dragged into court. if she starts, just say "child support is being sorted by the CSA, when they tell me what my assessment is, i will abide by it"
oh, and any proof you have of her operating a "pay per view" regime for the children, take it with you and she'll get another earful off the judge. bring it up as a specific point that she is offering more contact for more money.NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.
and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.0 -
Thanks all - well solictor has written to the court today so we'll wait and see. He's spoken to someone there who says it should now be seen before Christmas.
Think X will get letter Fri / Sat - we're going away for the weekend, don't think the phones will be going with us!!
Fingers crossed and thanks again for all the useful info....something tells me I'll be back soon
