Help what present for 11 year old daughter?

Can anyone with similar age girls please tell me what sort of things they would like for christmas? I can never get any sense from my daughter. Shes 11 1/2 and the only things she has said she would like are a pair of slippers as shes outgrown hers and some seamonkeys? I guess I shouldn't complain as most of my nieces and nephews have lists as long as their arm but my daughter says she doesn't really need anything? Any ideas gratefully recieved.
Thanks

Does she have any book series she likes/has some of that you could add to? Any films or CDs? Some funky stationery for school/home? Arty stuff?
All stuff I probably asked for at that age! What is she into?Blood donations to date: 10 | Type: O negative[/B][/CENTER]0 -
Does she like any particular music/films/characters?
If she does at least you could buy her a diary, toiletries, stationary bits etc with that theme? Tickets to a show of a group she likes? Vouchers for a clothes shop and a shopping trip with you to spend them (how can she not want more clothes, no matter how many you have?!)? Does she have a digital camera, if not you can get pink ones circa £50 from the supermarkets etc.
She sounds like she wants a surprise, I am exactly the same but I'm 22. My own mother texted me the other day asking if there is a gift I would like and got back the age old ''I want a stocking please'' lol0 -
A nice jewellery box and a piece of jewellery that she can treasure.
Some new bedding and asscessories to give her room a little makeover
A CD, my daughter (just turned 12) has asked for Now 740 -
Your daughter sounds such a lovely maid, its great that some kids dont get suckered into every passing craze,
would she rather an experience then toys?
My DS3 is the same (outdoor Lad) and has only asked for some stick insects for christmas, as he's not into computers games and such like, ive brought him just some little bits and booked some sailing lessons, as he loves being out on the boat with Grandfer0 -
What a nice change to hear!!!
Assuming that she understands "where" the presents come from - IYSWIM, I would buy her some nice small presents that she wants - such as the slippers, new PJ's, new duvet cover etc and then open her a savings account in her name and put some money into it for her.
Show her the paying in book and talk to her about what she may want in the next year/5 years or whatever and explain that it is great that she does not "want" anything and that it is far better to save for something she does want/will want in the future rather than throw cash away on something just for the sake of it.
In fact, you could wrap the paying in book as a present in her stocking......

I like the sound of the savings account for her. If she is into seamonkeys (am I right in thinking that they are those crystal things you grow), then how about a trip to a science museum or sealife centre?:A kimmi_b0

I think when I was 11 all I asked for was books and CDs.
The savings account idea is good, as is kimmi_b's idea about the museum/sea life centre."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -

My daughter is the same age! I am going shopping with her to choose some clothes which I will then send to Santa (LOL) because she has a younger sister & I still believe in Santa! Things I have thought of
£5 cinema voucher, she is getting to stage where friends are asking her to go to cinema with her, this way she wont have to use her money wrapped up with sweets/popcorn so it looks abigger present!
Go Ape experience gift voucher.
Go shopping with her & see if there is anything she likes without getting it at the time.
Magazine subscription? Lasts a year and some good offers online, saves money in the year if she buys them anyway.
She is enjoying science at school so I have got her a bath bomb kit, looks fun & messy!
For stocking fillers I have bought new pens, slippers! choc coins, hair bobbles etc, stuff she will use anyway0
