Thanks for good vibes everyone, especially Toots, Soappie and Rosepink.

Not much change here. Have managed to bring forward gastroscopy to 8th Dec but only that far despite many calls to private health insurance company and many hospital departments (will not be renewing policy!).

Still managing dailies, house only looks normal-ish because you lovely ladies had helped me to lick it into shape the week before disaster struck.:T

Forgot to say when having whinge other day that there was good news, went to out-patient breast clinic whilst in-patient last week and the ladies there and x-ray couldn't have been lovelier and I got the all clear (likely a cyst that had already burst which explained the discharge - sorry to gross you out if you are having lunch) so not all bad.:D

Hugs and positive vibes to all especially LL, I don't think the wheelchair is losing independence, it's gaining it, a chance to do more, be more mobile than you would manage under your own steam. My big sis fought to manage with a stick for years and now wishes she had got her mobility scooter much sooner, so hope it goes well for you too. x:smileyhea

Thank you all for a very entertaining morning catching up on the thread and if I dare say - go pegs! (matching of course).:p

Bringing list forward to add Thursday to it. Not made a fantastic start - I have a book I'm enjoying:o
    BUT I have
Made 2 cottage pies (with turkey mince)
(so one for tea and one for the freezer) I have to pick DD up from Cross Country practice at 4 - we'll arrive home to delicious smells)
And I have made a Bread and Butter pudding so it's in the fridge and the bread will soak up all the eggy milk - it's my favourite and I am pleased to say that the kids love it too (they were doubtful at first;))
And I have two loads of washing blowing outside
    so actually not bad...
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

    Hope he's OK.

Don't worry about your lists, make sure you rest.

Managed to iron 5 tops during my last client call :D Hopefully I can do some more during the next one. I've had all my feedback on the writing, so I need to do some thinking... next call in 20 minutes. It's freezing here, but a. I've still got condensation on the north side, so windows are still open, and b. I've just been looking at gas & electricity consumption - although gas is down year on year from 08-09, consistently every month (not sure how that works in the summer... I must be having fewer baths & showers :o), electricity is UP consitently, so I'm trying to work out why. Possibly the dehumidifier (but not in the summer ), maybe the halogen lights in the utility room  (I've reduced these recently, so must now go and get a replacement light fitting for the hallway bit of it).

Anyway, as my old and currently cheap BG tariff is eligible for their smart energy programme, I've signed up for it and will be keeping a close eye on things!
