oh yeah forgot to ask - need ideas for the children to decorate cakes this afternoon for Christmas Fayre. They are 4 and 6 and not very dextrous LOL

In the cupboard I have chocolate, royal icing, sprinkly things , dessicated coconut, food colouring and writing icing. Just cant think of anything easy enough that will still look good on the cake stall.

    TIA :D

Hugs to you LL it can't be easy at all but I see it as you getting some independence back, you will be able to go further and see more with your chair. My FIL needs one but won't give in and it makes everything so restrictive, I am sure he is getting more and more depressed as he can't get out much as it wears him out. I know it's a pride thing with him. Hope I haven't offended in any way.

Done quite a bit of ironing, decluttered some heartbeats of the HDD and written some Ch******s cards. Off to empty the TD and fold as much as I can.

Jill anything done by the kids will sell I am sure ;) I put all the toppings in different dishes for the SWs and let them get on with it. In a childs world more is definitely more :rotfl:

    hi everyone :hello:

just popping in to show my face. been a busy week but I've managed Level 1 for Monday and Tuesday, and kept on top of the ironing too.

we've got a leak somewhere, damp patches have appeared on the hall ceiling and walls which are directly under the bathroom so got to get onto the insurance company to see what the next step is...oh dear, not got a good feeling about this, but when i think of those poor people in Cumbria i realise it's not such a big problem
    weaving through the chaos...

Too right! Had a quick google, am going to get them to use a tree shaped playdough cutter on green icing, plonk it on the white-iced-cake and then let them decorate the cake. Job done.

Right need to get off to this lunch thing, later peeps

I would say morning but its not :o

Have done nothing so far today. Got up and didnt feel too great again this morning, breathless and tight chested. Managed to shower and walk DD to school but came home and have spent the morning sleeping on and off on the sofa in front of daytime TV. Decided now I have to do something so have got meat out of freezer for tea and now need to update finances before I get in a muddle.

Rosepink - I dont have any authority on here so it was unofficially take it easy :rotfl:

mummyslittleboy (MLB) welcome to the mad house

LadyLib - Hugs my lovely. Think of it as your plaything, after all if they're good enough for 2 young royal boys to sit in and race then I'm more than sure its good enough for you. I love the idea of customising it too.

Jill thanks for the coffee, my latte was lovely

As for the bank charges thing its a massive upset for those waiting. I'm just so glad I had mine back before they put a stop on them.

Right need to find my list for later and do the Quicken.

    See you later
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    Afternoon everyone

Managed to wrap DS pressies but thats it.
AF is terrible and didn't manage to sleep last night until 4am. Stomach cramps were so bad. Then had to get up to take DS and DD to school so now going for a little lie down.
Rosepink - thanks Mum is getting better now, thank goodness cos I'm in no state today to have to deal with anything that isn't normal lol

Gonna catch up with the lists tomorrow hopefully and redo Kitchen then aswell as its in a state again.

Hugs to all who need them
