Spent most of today waiting around again - this time i'm waiting for a call from the garage re: the car... still it has it's good side cause...
Toots - can I have a Tuesday star please?
Spent a bit of time wandering around the shops trying to find the right diary for next year - it has to be just right if I'm stuck with it all year IFKWIM - finally found a nice moleskine one in waterstones - will now customise it by sticking in random pretty pics cut out of magazines to make it really mine.
Haven't started xmas shopping yet as I need to know whether I've got to economise or not.... think i might do shoe box hampers again this year rather than proper pressies - that reminds me, must ask the shoe shop at work for some old boxes...
Gonna ring the garage I think to find out a rough time then think I'll get ahead of myself and clean the bathroom and loos (um, can you get stars in advance ).

Hi Dusty - Littlenose, Nicholas and the Gang, Jeremy James. I don't like Horrid Henry either.
Came home from work to a pigsty yet again. DH has no room to work in the garage (because he hasn't tidied it), so he is instead turning the house into a saw dust filled tip. I am not impressed, even if he has made the first kitchen cupboard door. I have de-cluttered all of his junk back to the garage but now I need to get Mr Dyson out yet again.
Jill - I do sympathise. Haven't a clue who to ask for ours, and it needs sorting.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Nearly done, going to leave that room for now. Floor is clear so I can open the chairbed thingy for my nephew tonight. Got to move my books from the desk back into the bookcase which has been rehomed in my room. Then there should be only a few bits to organise, and 3 carrier bags of paperwork to sort through and either file or shred. Then set up the old laptop on the desk so I can work in there without having to take this one up and down with me.
Going to do the kitchen while I cook tea for DP and me. And living room will have to be after school tomorrow, I have my scrapbook group tomorrow morning and then my art/craft class tomorrow afternoon. We are making lanterns for the christmas fayre/lantern festival. An' It Harm None, Do As Thou Will
