Nokia E71 or Blackberry

Yeah, I'm considering getting the phone, but I'd use it on pay as you go. If there is no subscription charge from nokia for using the internet, then its a bargain compared with a blackberry!

Thanks for all the feedback, I think I shall get the nokia E71. Only probably now is that I have seen some newer models being realesed and I can not find out if they will be launched on Orange?

Excuse my ignorance but the blurb on the E71 says it is compatible with push email. Does this mean you can take advantage of the free push email that the likes of Orange offer without eating into your data allowance to receive emails?

Very tempted by one of these as out of contract and looking for my first email phone!

E71 is a great phone, better in size, battery life, it has 3G & Wifi connectivity and a good 3.2mp camera which is better than most blackberrys ie 8110 pearl ( old but popular), 8900 curve II ( good but not 3G), 8520 (very basic) and the bold 9000 ( bulky). However there is a new Blackberry Bold 9700 which i believe may be better than the E71 as it has took all the great features from the previous models and combined them into the 9700 eg the roller ball is gone, its more compact in size, the camera is 3.2mp, HSDPA internet plus lots more, but on the other hand the E72 is due out.

So the question i would ask is the Blackberry 9700 or the Nokia E72?

That's the same question that I'm asking myself but my contract is not due for renewal until Feb/Mar, so I've plenty of time.
