Sky+, communal dish and signal not picking up all channels – please help

If you are not trying to record then it may not be the problem (but try the dummy recording anyway). It is strange it's just the Sky+ box and I think we could get a big clue to the problem if you could borrow a friends standard box and see if it works.

Your right a Sky+ box is not designed to work on one feed but it can be made to with some limitations.
