  • I have done it!! I am under the £15k mark for the first time :j!!!!

Somehow, being under 15k has made it all seem a little less scary. Just imagine how I will be feeling when I get it under £10k!!!

Am sitting here with a numb mouth as I have been to get my (expensive) crown done today. Nearly cried when I had to give over £198!!

I only have another £300 to pay off my virgin card and then they are going to "re-activate it. As much as I will feel better for having the cushion in case disaster strikes, I have already told Mum that she will be looking after it for me so I don't use it. Just not sure if I trust myself completely yet.

Managed to do my weekly shop for £22.14 this week which has beaten my previous record of £26. Very proud of myself :D.

Well, off to go and see what else I can pay off this week :rotfl:

    Well Good afternoon everyone.

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I have been working stupid hours and have been too knackered to think straight.

Have had an excellent no spend week with 6 NSD out of 7. I am sure that is a record for me! :D

Am still on course (ahead, actually :T) to hit my own personal target of £14k debt by the end of April which is really inspiring. March should be a better month than February and April shoud be even better! There are 5 weeks in April and as I get paid weekly this is a real bonus for me :j!! So it will mean an extra payment going off the debts. How sad is it that I am excited about it already?

I have had my water bill for the year which has actually gone down (??) so I have planned for the new payments on that and I am just waiting now for the new council tax bill to come through the letter box. We are having a 2.5% rise this year so the sooner I know what I need to pay, the better! I hate not knowing what is going to be coming out of my account. I am getting seriously OCD with planning my money now!

Well, off now to update my SOA as I haven't done it for AGES.

    Take care everyone

Well, I am sat here with a numb mouth after finishing my dental treatment today. I had to have a crown on one side and a filling on the other so I am actually numb from my chin to my nose:(. Am considering putting a bib on as I am fed up of spilling tea all down my shirt:rotfl:!!! So, have finished paying for the treatment today so after £198.00  I now have a healthy mouth.

I am really pleased that I have finished paying for that even though it did wipe out what little bit of money I had managed to pull together for "me".

So onwards and upwards now for the debt bustsing. I am amazed how easy I am finding NSD's. I have managed (somehow) to have all my expsenses coming out on one day a week meaning i normally get at least 5 NSD's a week!!

    Take care

    Well good evening everyone!

I am sorry I haven't been on for a while to update, but I have been pretty busy!

Have been doing a lot of work from home lately and it has been really good because I haven't had time to go out and spend any money!!

One bit of drama to tell you about. Some little s**t decided to set fire to the bottom of next door's garden and subsequently, we lost 4 fencing panels, a shed, my compost bin and some of the contents of the shed.

Will thought it was great that "fireman sam" was in the garden :rotfl:. You're probably wondering why I am not that bothered. Well, the shed was falling down and the fencing panels were damaged anyway so it was something we were planning on doing this summer as it was. Just means that hubby has to cough up and get it done earlier :0) There is no point claiming on insurance, because the excess is too steep for what we lost.

The debt busting is going well and I finally feel as though I am actually making some progress. I am hoping to be under the 14k mark in the next couple of weeks which is great news!

Well, off to do some more work.

    Take care
