Hi there.;)
Funny how you said that lol, was meant to post back on this one earlier and my phone rang, then I forgot.....:o, but this is what I was going to suggest.
Just write a simple letter and enclose a £1 postal order or cheque payment, tell them you are requesting for a copy of your CCA and that you expect this within the time limit of 12 days, and as usual recorded delivery post.;)
You certainly know what your doing anyway. XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks Di.
Will the CCA be included with the SAR stuff?
What other info should be included?
3 of the companies have had their letters (just checked online tracking!)Look atfer the Pennies and the ££££'s will care for themselves :money:0 -

Your welcome.;)
Sometimes they are but not always, though you should receive info of everything they hold on you, statements, transcripts of phone calls, emails, etc, and all details of finance you had or have with them over the last 5/6 years, with one of my SAR's I was lucky to receive info as from the later 90's.
Glad the companies received your letters, its all go from here now then.:T:T:TThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
so would requesting a CCAs speed things up at all? I am happy to wait for the SARs so long as all of the info needed should be there.
Im gonna get all of my mates to look into their finances too!!Look atfer the Pennies and the ££££'s will care for themselves :money:0 -
Also one last thing and I will leave you all in peace....we think but are unsure that we had a loan with Freedom Finance. I dont want to waste £10 if we didnt have one with them, is there a cheaper way of finding out?
Would this be the CCA way?
I love this site xxLook atfer the Pennies and the ££££'s will care for themselves :money:0 -

Having the CCA's can be a big help and the info of PPI should be on them, so you can of course carry on with your claims.
By just having the CCA's is all you need, but with the SAR, there may also be useful info amongst them, so for example, your complaints did not get resolved direct with the finance company, if you take to the FOS, the copies of anything you have within the SAR can be helpful.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

lol, hey you can ask away as much as you like lol, bless you........:D;).
What I was about to say as well, if you have any old bank statements, by just having the loan account numbers, you can still continue to make a reclaim, if the loan/finance was taken out say the last 5/6 years, any old bank statements, and if you paid from your bank account, next to the monthly loan repayments, should be the account number to that actual loan.
But yes otherwise a letter to request a CCA, if you do not have the account numbers, give them as many details as you can, say the year you taken out the loan if your remember, and your date of birth, any old addresses and so on and names changes if they were different then as well.;)
Hope this helps you.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I will print some more letters tonight then.
I am so grateful for all of your help...thanks you very much.Look atfer the Pennies and the ££££'s will care for themselves :money:0 -
Forgot to mention as well, if you bank online and still with the same bank, this should allow you to go back as far as 6 years on checking your statements, and the loan repayment account numbers should be shown on them as well.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
