Just to clarify the search time is on the address, if you have an account with 1 default 5 years ago at your current address then they will see this.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Hey guys. If a company searches your credit file twice whats the appropiate action to take? I dont fancy having 2 searches on my file for one application at this moment in time.

RBS did this to me a few months back (mortgage app) - query directly or via the CRA if you're paying for one of their services (hell, get something for your money at least, let them do the leg-work...)

    Hi everyone,
Has anyone applied to First Direct?
I want to apply but I am scared they might turn me down due to too many searches on my file.
Wthin the last 6 months I've had 6 searches with EX and 2 searches with EQ. I do love my new Coventry First but lack of Faster Payments is really affecting me.

I do have about 6 new accounts opened within last 3 months. Maybe they wont like that. I dont have any adverse but I suppose too many searches is classed as adverse isn't it?
    Cheers.

I'm going to send Capital One a secure message in a few moments to close my account. They aren't worthy of my business. :D
