NatWest today sent me a debit card but I'm having trouble figuring out which account it is for.

None of my cards are even near expiring and they just sent the new Visa cards last month.

This new one they sent has "service card 100" on the front, which none of my others has.

I got a letter saying I was getting a new card, but when mine expires (that'll be Feb!!). Can't you just take a tenner out on it or something and see in online banking which account it goes out of?

I recently changed my NatWest pins and don't have the old ones anymore, so I'm not sure if the new card will have the old or new pin - can only try I guess.

I'm going to give my finances a spring clean. :D I have two Halifax savings I no longer use so I'll close them.

I want to close my Halifax current account but it still has an active direct debit (I've called Virgin Media 4 times in the last 2 months to get them to change bank details but oddly, they keep making excuses), so next call I make I shall tell them to either change the direct debit or cancel the f****ng TV, internet and phone line.

    Hi everyone,
just an update. i have managed to obtain 3 sygma issued cards.

I have the flybe, jjb and the days card. Flybe was opened in february, jjb and days were opened in april.
Just 3 days in between applications (for jjb and days card). both were refered though and each time i had to call before they actually approved them.

No credit checks in last 2 applications. i dont know why though.

It feels quite strange because at this time last year i only had a total credit limit of £10 but now i have a total of over 8k between 5 credit cards and 4 current accounts.

Advice from this forum was very helpful. Thanks everyone

NatWest are withdrawing Maestro and replacing current account holders with VISA Debit cards. My new card arrived about a week ago and automatically replaced my Maestro, even though I had time to run on that card. I've kept the same cheque guarantee level of £250. The pin was the same - just used it first time out of the envelope.

The only gripe I have is that my previous Maestro was a Gold Card (Advantage Gold account) and the new cards they issue are all blue coloured now :( Spoke to someone in the bank in case a mistake had been made and they confirmed no more gold from now on. Might have to cancel my Advantage Gold account and save myself £12.95 per month now...

lol They sent the new Visa card to me like last month.

I'm glad they ditched the Maestro cards, they're useless.

Just got a Sygma My world card thats 2 sygma cards within the space of a Month

Are we sure they are prime? and also does the payment system allow me to pay them off using my barclaycard (not to get into debt as i find it easier to pay my barclaycard off as that has the lowest APR and easiest user interface) without charging? has this been tried and tested?
