Monument used to be the only lender to exclusively use them - they are no longer around lol. But that's not to say that lenders don't report to them - they do.... What's the point in reporting to a place that nobody checks!?
Just had a look at the thread and A&L will report my bunch of 0's to everyone, as will Natwest. Capital One and Natwest cards will all be reported to the lot of them, as will my o2 contract, but 3 don't even bother reporting to Call Credit.
Ohhh JD Williams/HSD will go to go all 3 as well, so as long as I behave and pay everything on time it should be reflected across all 3.
Now I finally have access to my files again, it looks like I better do some uni work :rotfl:0 -
never-in-doubt wrote: »Can I remind you mate - for the tenth time - the MBNA England card is not that good! If you are going to apply to MBNA at least think long term and not for a one off freebie - you could make money by choosing the right card with them!
You will struggle to get accepted though, if you have lots of new accounts. I'd apply to them first but you may find they decline you for not having enough credit, however apply to the others and they may decline you due to having too many..... catch 22 and MBNA can be awkward to get an account with.. I know there is play but that's only a voucher/discount, eventually.
never-in-doubt wrote: »Not many search CC but that will change as they are winning new business and they now do all internal scoring for Lloyds (so if you bank with Lloyds and want a credit card, they will search CC as well as Experian!)....
They are being used more now though, the lenders are finally recognising them and because they are so much cheaper (around £2 per customer per account) a lot of lenders are starting to use them (along with) data from the main 2 (EX & EQ)...... Do savings accounts make a different to the internal score by the way?? I think I might have asked before but my ISA & 2 savings accounts with Natwest clearly seem to have had no impact when those lot came to assigning my credit limit!

No mate - they are not regulated so they cannot be assessed in any way toward a credit score. Basically, they are useless.....2010 - year of the troll
