    I've got the A&L card, I like the look of it, but have never actually used it in a shop/cashpoint :rotfl:

    I passed my mock driving test. :D I made 12 minor errors and am allowed 15 in total.

    The errors I made was just stupid trivial things like forgetting to check the car was in neutral before moving off. They said I should pass the test without any problems.

    The big day is next week. :eek:
    Good luck next week :)

    What's your credit file like? Any defaults/ccjs/missed payments? How many searches?

    prior to 2007 had spotless credit record until i lost job.

    4 defaults total £25k from 2007. Paid back about 10k.

    Got WF loan for 5k and vanquis card and 2 catalogues and managed to get my barclaycard simplicity reinstated since applying to first direct. All active accounts have no missed payments and are upto date.

    Had about 6 searches over the past year to include the above accounts. Last search was 3 months ago and I tend to leave a gap of at least 2 months between searches. I never go over 9 in a year.

    Just get a copy of your Experian report it is a composite score made up from the data in it, i.e. are you on the electoral roll, how many search have been made in the last x months, how much is your total available credit, what percentage of your credit are you using, do you pay on time (the much sought after green zeros), do you take cash advances, etc.

    CAIS refers to the credit account information held by Experian. Lenders provide information on accounts held with their customers. In return, lenders can view the same level of information when they make a search of our records during an application for credit. For example, banks that provide only information on accounts with a history of arrears can view only defaulted and delinquent accounts.

    * Note this is only relevant to Experian. Equifax & CC have their own data sharing name, I think it is called Insight with Equifax or something? {clarity needed lol}

    My Experian report says I'm no longer registered on the E/R at my address?!!??! I am, I must be. I just got a letter through last week saying they are allowing me to vote by post.

    But Experian say:

    Address: *
    Names and dates: * - 07/2009 to 10/2009
