Pap, Sally, I know what you mean about no-one wanting to celebrate. Mine's 2/1 so everyone's partied out and skint, and all the restaurents are shut after the xmas party season. Last year I went for a drink with sister and ended up back home with a pizza!

Pap, I've got into comping over the last week, I think it was you mentioning it last weekend that pushed me into finally getting into it. I'm not as organised as you though, I just enter any that are in the first few pages that I fancy, I think I must be entering about the same number as yoiu most days, but not as many on the weekend. Have you seen how much some of the compers make from it?! I'd settle for just one small win!

Lou, I think I'm in the minority, I preferred the first one you posted. I really have to stop browsing that site though!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • And it has already tracker £17.40 in the quidico pot, happy days!

I used to win lots of things on the comps but not so much now but I like to think there is some sort of karma going on cos I really needed to win then and it gave me a wee lift but now it's not so important. Hope that makes sense, and I never entered one that I didn't have a use for :).

The meaning I take it as is you spend only want you make for christmas. So you could sell three items on ebay and get a profit of £95 and thats all you can spend on christmas. Obviously you can sell as much as you like. However if you win things or they are freebies with no spends its even better :T

:rotfl: probably from what you have said about him in your diary...
    I never entered one that I didn't have a use for :).

:T Skinty, I see some comps that will be useless to me, mainly holidays and weekends away so I leave them for someone else... Maybe that will help with my comp karma
