You know that you don't have to completely undress when you're getting measured don't you? Just take your top off - you could wear a strappy vest top and just pull it down to your torso, if baring your tummy bothers you.
If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!

No, I didn't know that. Thank you. I'm so ashamed of how I look, keeping the horrible tummy covered would sure be a blessing. I'll have a ferret around and try and find a top that will be easy to do this with. I must have one somewhere.:o

I'll be waiting til after Xmas now - there's no way I'm going into Central MK again this side of Xmas unless it's an emergency; was there yesterday afternoon to pick up some meds, and the crowds were horrendous.

Lamewolf, if you PM me some info maybe I can help you find the size you should be wearing.

I would need the size of bra you are wearing now, the make, the style and the fit. Then ask your hubby to measure you - around your back, quite snug and around not rising up, and then around the fullest part of your bust wearing your best fitting bra - and then let me know what these measurements (in inches) are.

At least you could then make a start on ordering the right size bras rather than going in blind. With that info I should pretty much be able to tell what size you should be wearing (maybe with a few sizes either way).

It is no bother. If you then want to drop me an email when you have ordered and the bras have arrived I can guide you and tell you whether it is fitting you correctly. If you cannot face going into a shop it is the best you are going to get to be honest. If you have no idea on whether you are in the right size then you'll have no idea on whether the fit is good or not. The offer is there, OK.

Hi my friend visited bravissimo in Leamington spa recently
I don't know if this would be helpful to you or not
but the lady did NOT TOUCH OR MEASURE my friend at all
my friend simply took her bra off and let the lady look at her bust "freestyle " as such
she suggested a COUPLE of sizes that might suit my friend - but I believe in bravissimo they are more into how the bra FITS you rather than what size it is

my friend bought 2 bras and looks FABULOUS in them - one is a 34 G and the other a 34 F.......the lady says the size will depend on the fit of the BRA not the size of the bosom - which if you think about it is VERY sensible!!!!
a bit like shoes really !

I hope you can get sorted - good luck

When I've been to Bravissimo, they've never looked at me without my bra on, so it sounds like they have different styles of fitting.

Lamewolf, can you make a list of what you'd be ok with, and what is definitely not ok? Like, is all touching not ok, or would you be happy with minor touching? Mostly it seems to be feeling the band at the back rather than full on gropeage if that reassures you. Would you be ok with them seeing your braless, or do you want to keep it on?

Then once you've decided what you're ok with, you or your husband could phone them to discuss if they can do a fitting based around that. You could then make an appointment and be happy that when you go they'll definitely respect your wishes as they've been pre-warned. You could even ask them to cover up mirrors if possible if seeing your reflection is an issue.

Blue_monkey thank you; I'll try and get Mr LW to do a spot of measuring and PM you. Not sure when, but I will do it. Thanks again.:A

Juno unfortunately I have major issues with being looked at, cannot abide physical contact with anyone other than Mr LW, (I don't even like shaking hands) and don't even have mirrors in the bedroom at home! LOL I'm a neurotic mess!:D Also, I can't get my hands round my back to fasten a bra, and fastening at the front and twizzling it round doesn't work, because my hands aren't even strong enough to do that, hence Mr LW helping me at home, to my total chagrin:confused:
