Anyone with BE BRoadband?

Just had an email through giving me half price broadband for a whole year with BE Broadband - apparently Best Buy Broadband Provider by Which? September 2009. I've never heard of them before and just wondered if anyone else was with them and what their thoughts on them are.
Banana Lovers
Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning

BE have very high ratings amongst the internet community they seem to provide a quality service. They are the same company as O2 who are also rated highly so it seems like a good deal to be honest :).

This offer will only apply if you are on a Be LLU exchange though.

Yes, used Be for over 3 years now, great speed and excellent customer support.
  • fantastic be broadband fast and really great customer support and its free to phone them to id recommend them
  • If you are going for the top package, check it's not cheaper to go with O2 via topcashback as they are currently offering 3 months free and £100 via TCB. Makes it extremely cheap and same infrastructure as O2 so you shouldn't notice any difference between the two in most situations.

I've been with them for a couple of years, they are very good, get an email each month reminding me when they'll be taking the direct debit which is helpful. Any existing customers been able to get this half price deal?
  • We've been with them about 4 months - no problems yet, I love the way they let you know if there's any servicing or time down as well - great improvement on Virgin Media which is what we used to have.

Be/O2 are truly excellent for ADSL2.

Only thing to rememeber is the O2 bit only applies if you line is LLU'd ie Be/O2 are on the local exchange.

I was on Be for 2 years (before jumping to their owner O2) and they were fab. O2 seem to have managed a small miracle by continuing this level of service.
  • I agree - had Be for 2+ years and always good service, seems like everyone has a positive view on it so if you can get them on this good deal then def go for it.
