Its not up to the OR whether you have 2 accounts, its up to the bank.

I'm glad you have posted and things WILL get better for you now you have made the decision.
I am sure all of us on here have broke down (men & women) at some point of this process so you are definately not alone. You will be just fine so try not to worry.

Oddest thing about all of this is that my emotions swing from a feeling of total devastation and of no future to one of optimism and everything in between.

I really am not sure where I will be in even 3 months time, but I am trying to live every day one at a time, really all I can do I suppose.

Once you go BR you can open as many accounts as you like .

As FYP says it is up to the bank whether they will open one for you. Co-op usually will open another.

Its the BR rollercoaster of emotions and is normal. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
