Morning all! Hugs Sammy and Snags.. I woke up unable to speak this morning, my lungs hurt and there is an alarming amount of green stuff coming out of my nose!
But it's Friday and I've just finished my Christmas shoppingDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Oh no, not you too Squizz. :grouphug:
It's been building up all week - the voice is funny though, it's coming and going, totally unpredictable if something will come out when I try :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I don't 'do' spreadsheets but I think I really need to start, so that I can work out whether there is enough money in my account throughout the month.
It gets confusing because I have some credits that come in monthly, and some 4 weekly, and what I want is to be able to see if there will be enough money in the account each day to cover what is going out, not just this month, but to be able to look ahead a couple of months too, so I can see problems before they occur.
Is that possible? Complicated? Easy? Hellllllp.
I haven't got Excel on this new laptop, by the way."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
i should think it a bit complex for me...
i kinda have an overview of in's and out's and overall balance.... but the reality is i don't keep a tight enough reign on it and it's a work of fiction anyway!
Without excel i guess it would be doubly hard...
can you not get something from MS money? would that do the job?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
There's a spreadsheet thingy in Open Office (which is free to download) if you haven't got Excel. It'll be a bit time consuming but once you've put regular payments in you can just copy and paste them into coming months when they're due.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Morning all ! Hugs for all the poorly ones. Anyone near a tv ? Put QVC on - you have to see this er 'guy' flogging his jewellery :rotfl:Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

I could probably get Excel, just haven't got around to it because I haven't needed it.
I was just wondering if there was anything around that was free.
I usually just add it all up manually but it would be nice to be able to see it at a glance, and especially if it could take into account transactions that have a different frequency to just 'monthly'.
I suppose at least if I assume all credits are monthly, it will give me a worst case scenario, and once a year I will have a pleasant surprise when 2 payments go in during the same month."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Oh, thanks Squizz, I think I might have Open Office actually (not sure as computer usage has been limited to MSE, FB and iTunes of late
). I will have a look at that.
