I have to confess I bluetooth stuff my 'phone to my laptop/netbook all the time. We were a Nokia household but then switched to Samsungs, keeping up with the chargers is bad enough but trying to sort out data cables would be too much.
However, bluetooth is always switched off on the mobiles unless we are using it at the time.
Understand about bluetooth, and it is a personal choice.
But do remember that the NC10 (an others) have a built-in SD card reader, and you can get USB card readers very cheap etc, so it is not the end of the world.0 -

Remember that it is not whether you can obtain the peripherals cheaply, but whether one would wish to have a mess of connections attached to the machine.
If you are buying a super light Netbook, you don't want to be running around with a card reader, bluetooth dongle, 1.3MP webcam....
It's nice if it's all in one.0 -
If it helps to choose :
PC World / Currys have the Samsung NC10 for £269 at the moment, but are also giving £20 cashback

ok, just to update - after getting one of the 20% off codes the other night for Comet, I chose one from there,
I bought the asus 1000HA-BLK today for my hubby from Comet - is £269.99 but I had a 20% off code for it - it's a really stunning one, black with a sapphire blue glitter effect to it - it's 6 cell battery and Windows 7, has a card reader built in (but isn't bluetooth).
Thanks for all your input to this thread - I'm really chuffed with what I ended up choosing but without all your advice I wouldn't have known what to have been looking for. x0 -
acer aspires ones have problems with the screens randomly cracking or breaking
I just got a samsung nc130 from comet for £203.11 + £20 cashback.0 -
hubby doesnt like acer ones - I saw the samsung in currys and wasn't that struck on it tbh but I love the look of the asus one.0

I would recomend the Samsung NC10 every time - I got the Mrs one last Christmas and its been good as gold. I recently upgraded the memory to 2GB and installed Windows 7 and it still runs really well.0
