Why is it relevant what country they're from?
I raised issues about them when they arrived. They dont speak English very well and I was not happy that they arrived in MY home and then proceeded to chatter away in whatever language all morning making me very uncomfortable. they were arranged by an electrician through my kitchen company. Had I been prepared it may not have been a problem but I wasnt expecting them and didnt feel able to communicate to them.0 -
If they come back the phrase "Mush tamaam" would probably be understood to mean "No good."This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

Get your kitchen company to inspect the work and give an opinion. It should be far better than it seems to be, but whether they spoke Iranian or Welsh is immaterial if you paid your kitchen company to use qualified and skilled tradesmen..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
Im a near retired plasterer and I based my work around pride. Pride is what some tend to neglect and instead rely on a swift finish quick payment. The proposed walls to be skimmed should be looked at in depth to see if a tight coat of finish would be appropriate. Depending on how the background is, ( uneven/rough, this should be levelled out with a tight coat of bonding. If it`s just a nice finish you were looking for, I presume the walls are just in need of a smooth/egg shell finish suitable for painting without any after noticable defects, ie, blisters or tram lines, or even brish/sponge finishes. Then a coat of finish applied followed up by a laying down coat, had that have been done proper, no defects would be visable after a coat of paint.
