I'm a bit late to the party this week as got back from a weekend in France this evening. I'm not sure what i'll have tomorrow as came home to a partially dead car battery so will need to sort that out after work tomorrow. So...

Saturday - had beef bourguignon (and I have to say, my dad makes it better :p)

Sunday - beef, potatoes, veg and gravy (my dad made it for our return :D)

Monday - will probably be lazy and have a packet of pasta and sauce

Tuesday - sweet and sour pork with rice

Wednesday - sweet and sour chicken with noodles

Thursday - cheese and ham omelette with potato wedges

Friday - [STRIKE]stuffing burgers with salad[/STRIKE] totally forgot i'm going out for dinner with work! So it will be chicken goujony things for a starter and scampi for main.

Saturday - sausage pasta bake (if at home, might go and see my brother and sister)

Sunday - homemade pizza, will use some chorizo I bought in France on it / may make the stuffing burgers instead, will decide on the day

I really need to go shopping for some bits as although I have a lot in the cupboards, my fridge looks bare!

I've taken some vegetable curry out of the freezer tonight and am going to make it into some little pasties tomorrow for lunch during the week.

    Hi everyone
I seem to be running late this week with my plans but here goes.

Mon Porkchop, mashed carrot and swede, roast pots and gravy
Tues Bacon, egg and baked beans
Wed Sausage, mash, brussel sprouts and gravy
    Thurs Chilli and rice
Fri Fish, healthy potato wedges and mushy peas
    Sat Egg and potato wedges
Sun Pork chop, stuffing, roast poatoes, peas and gravy

OH gets paid on Friday so the weekend meals may change if I get chance to go shopping. Money seems to be getting tighter and tighter at the moment and the food budget seems to be what is having to give but we haven't starved yet. Breakfast is either cereal or toast and lunches again leftovers or sandwiches. As well as our basic menu I am making cakes and puddings to cheer things up a couple of times a week. I made a lovely jam sponge pudding and custard in the microwave the other evening, simple, cheap and extremely yummy. Anyway I'd better get on
    Have a good week everyone
