Have made the cookies and just about to do final layer on mint crisp squares. Desperately need some new cat litter before I die from inhaling the ammonia fumes_pale_
DS`s dad rang to say he had found a cheap weeks hol for June next year to Spain and could he have permission to take DS with his OH and son.....I said yes even though I have been hyperventilating with anxiety ever since and have felt very tearful...but what can you do.
I also had to inform him of my upcoming wedding and ask if he could possible have DS so we could have a weekend away afterwards...it felt very odd talking to him about that:o:rolleyes:..he has said its no prob so thats sorted.
OH and I could go away while DS is on hols but money tight due to wedding so will just have some chill time at home with no interuptions....who knows what we could get up to:p;):whistle:_party_.......i wonder if Jamie Afro does private concerts:rotfl:;)_pale_:D

It isn`t pleasant near fatcats tray at the minute....it has a lid on but even that isnt sealing the smell in...the problem is fatcat is so fussy about her litter and what type she will have and it only comes in huge sacks that I cant carry from petshop so it is down to OH....he has promised to get some tomorrow:rolleyes:.....will need gas masks soon:cool:

Evening all
Haven't read through yet so hugs to all who need them.
I've been on a first aid course in Pembroke Dock today for work, it's a 2 day course so I'm back there tomorrow. It's a 2hr 30mins round trip so the driving has knackered me out, plus had to get up hour earlier! However the course itself has been excellent so far. The trainer is great, really enthusiastic (but not in the standard false, patronising way they can be sometimes!) and he is so funny! It's a really natural way to learn so I'm enjoying.
Not much OS, I had jacket spud with left over chilli sauce for dinner.
That damn van is still in my parking space  so I have left a note on the windscreen tonight politely asking them to move it. Hopefully this will work (if it doesn't get blown away :rotfl:), if not I'll email the management company for advice.
I'm just going to flake out now as I'm exhausted. Have a good evening

Hello,
Haven't posted for ages, I have tried to keep in touch with what is happening but at the moment I am snowed down with work, family, kids, G/kids, building, cooking /cleaning/ visitors & family staying etc. etc.
Managed to strip 4 beds, wash then dry bedding on the back of chairs (dining) over doors and stair banisters.
Ooohhh, ironing tomorrow .............. can't wait.
Off to do packed lunches for DD2 & SiL2B as I am having DGD2 (8mths old) tomorrow, I can give the packed lunches to them when they drop off DGD at 6.30 am.
Will take DGD2 out when I take DD2's two Golden Labs out for a walk.
Like I need the ecserxisize !!

I'm so tired I can't spell excarsize:rolleyes:
Hope to keep in touch a bit more often. Miss yah! xx

Hi Chums,
late on parade again, but I have had a really good day today even though I have been a bit snuffly.Did the school run this morning then home to get the towels out on the line for a good blow.Bathtowels smell so much nicer when they have been blowing well I think.
Then eldest DD dropped in after her course, and before she went back to work at lunchtime, so I had a nice chat with her without any interuptions from her phone, as everyone thought she was still on her course. Then after lunch took myself off to the local shopping centre and in W.H.Smiths bought the latest Gordon Ramsey Pub cook book for my son-in-law for part of his birthday present Only £6.00 reduced from £20.Then I went into sainsbobs and got two salmon en crute reduced to £1.50 from £3.00 so had one for dinner tonight and froze one now I have some room in the freezer.
Best news of all was on the bus on the way home I had a text to say that my DGS who had been interviewed twice for a job, and been turned down, had been phoned by the company to say that they had another opening, and would he be interested and could he start in January. He is walking on air, as its with a t.v. production company that he has been doing temporary work for on an ad hoc basis since leaving college in June.He has finally got his foot in the door, he want to work in the production of films or t.v. as that has been his interest since he was a small boy.I am chuffed to bits for him,our Danny is on the first rung of his career at last . Hopefully his lovely girlfriend Chloe will get a good result as well shortly ,she is hoping to become a CPSO with the local plods and had her interview last week, fingers crossed for her now. She has been working temporarily in a Phone Shop and hates it ,but its a job and bless her she has stuck to it .
My other DGD Katie has a tough weekend this week as she has to go with her Dad to scatter her other Nanny's ashes on Saturday in Glocestershire. Blless her she has been so strong over the past month or so, very adult for a 16 year old.I am going to take her out and treat her one night next week to try and cheer her up a bit.Well thats about all I've been up to today.
MSD I have copy & pasted the apricot scone recipe and mmay try it at the weekend, it sound really yummy
Time to go to the land of Nod, have the school run in the morning,
Night all, God bless
