Have made the cookies and just about to do final layer on mint crisp squares.
Desperately need some new cat litter before I die from inhaling the ammonia fumes_pale_
DS`s dad rang to say he had found a cheap weeks hol for June next year to Spain and could he have permission to take DS with his OH and son.....I said yes even though I have been hyperventilating with anxiety ever since and have felt very tearful...but what can you do.
I also had to inform him of my upcoming wedding and ask if he could possible have DS so we could have a weekend away afterwards...it felt very odd talking to him about that:o:rolleyes:..he has said its no prob so thats sorted.
OH and I could go away while DS is on hols but money tight due to wedding so will just have some chill time at home with no interuptions....who knows what we could get up to:p;):whistle:_party_.......i wonder if Jamie Afro does private appearances:rotfl:;)

    Welcome bebee :):j

OH's interview went well - they are only interviewing two people out of all the applicants, so he did well to get as far as he has done :) He should find out in a week or tow (the other guy hasn't been interviewed yet apparently). So good :) Lunch was nice - my friends seem very well and happy, which is lovely. Will catch up some more with them tonight :) Must get pasta, bread and breakfast things on the way home from work.
The girls appear to be multitasking in that they have 5 board games and all the associated "hoover food" bits strewn on the living room floor.

    Afternoon all.

I'm hoping the computer doesn't play up again while I'm typing this; it had a major hissy fit this morning while I was trying to process some membership documents, so a job that should've taken half an hour tops ended up taking a couple of hours.

I've been trying to get back to doing a bit of light housework - dusting is being done with a lambswool duster-on-a-stick and a small paintbrush for the fiddly bits, as I can't lift the (very heavy) pewter dragons at the moment.

Washing is out on the line - just hope it doesn't blow away!

Mr LW has requested pasta in cheese sauce for dins; he's told me to wait til he gets in and he'll help prepare it.:A

I did get a major boost this morning - I've won a Rimmel lipgloss in their online draw. Oh I'm so easily pleased!:rotfl:

I hope everyone's having a good.... *checks calendar* Thursday. ((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need one today.

    Afternoon peeps :hello:
Windy here as well, dry though so thankful for that as the washing is on the line and blowing well, good job I pegged it on hard ;)

Went out earlier to have a chop about and a tidy up out there, and came back in looking like a wild woman  tried sweeping the leaves up.... that was a mistake, mind you, I must have used up a million calories running around trying to catch 'em.:rotfl:

    Lunch was sarnies and yoghurt
Dinner will be SC braised beef and veg then fruit

:wave:Hello and welcome to you bebee nice to see you we love it when new friends join us
Diva - those apricot scones sound yummmy
thriftlady and Haribo - you have made me :rotfl:and cheered me up thanks
Looby_Lou - welcome back glad you had a good time. I love quilt exhibitions, my sister an avid quilter took me to a show down in Malvern, when we were there one weekend, she used to show her quilts at one time and makes a quilt for all the babies in the family as they come along. I'm sure all will be fine enjoy your first exhibition.

I really need to have a cook up for the freezer soon or we will be reduced to just eating vegetables

Better go its gone very dull out there dont want the washing to get wet now its had such a good blow.

  • Hi Guys!

    Hope all is well.

Today is a bit of a blur:o...the nurse got here a bit later than usual this morning and I am sure she gave me more than the usual amount of morphine as I still feel spacy (sp) now. Have a bad headache too, but think I havent drank enough. I need shooting:D

    Lovely to see newbies too:santa2:
The cleaner has been today, so house lovely and clean and have asked her to do the ironing as I dont think OH will manage it between taking me and his dad up to the hospitals as they can take an hr to get there and so knackering.

WM has been on with a load of bedding and the other of shower curtains and towels.

Dinner tonight is reduced Pizzas from Morrisons (Ivyleaf;)) with salad, so thats a nice easy tea.

Penelope Penguin has given me an easy recipe for a chocolate cake which should keep a few days.

Anyway, thanks for the messages and kind words

    PP

mmmm Raspberry Gin does sound nice! Of course you must check the quality, would be terrible if it was substandard!:p

It's still blowing a hoolie here, but only a few spots of rain, at least so far. Time for more no doubt. NW was supposed to get loads, we may not be quite far enough NW I suppose.

I should do something constructive before tea time, but, well, let's seee.ee........

    Hi OS Friends,
    Welcome Beebee:hello:
I have had a productive organising type of day. My cleaner came and we are also nice and tidy now though I dare not open too many cupboards. I can now see the bottom of my washing baskets but the laundry pile is ginormous:cry:

Anyway I have just been to Wait**e and used my voucher. I bought some lovely scented christmas candles and effectively got them for free:snow_laug

Tea is a ready made sausage pie which I got free so hope it tastes ok.

I have spent the afternoon trying to sort out my DD. She seems ok at the mo but i am determined to get her the help she needs. I was interetsted in the research on the news today discussing the link between bullying and eating disorders. She was very badly bullied at school when she was 13 and now binge eats/ comfort eats which has led to her self harming. I spent a nice hour with DS1 today which was positive.

Hope you have a lovely evening,
    Loves Molly

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
