In that case, if, for example, it's a Hairy, then you'll get a Hairy from an SA when you spend £5.
If they forget, it could be a touch embarrassing if you said "Where's my Hairy?"
But, if you've saved some Skinnies, you can still use them. There may be a brilliant combination of vouchers, and items issued from the ACM, that together make you salivate!
Seeing as how M & S and BHS have slashed the prices of their Toiletry Gift Sets, I'm holding out for the half price sale being introduced on, say, 2nd December, and the 75% one on 20th December, and a Very Merry Christmas to us all!
xx

Who knows? I've read that the P & P OOTW tomorrow is half price and not 3 for 2, yet I was told today it is 3 for 2!
I think Boots is either doing so well, that they don't need to introduce their half price sale till after Christmas, or so badly, that they can't afford to.

I think you are getting a bit carried away over the thought of 50% off before Christmas let alone 2 December considering its only a limited range of things that BHS and M&S have reduced. Tesco, yes they have reduced things by 50% already but I doubt Boots will.0 -

Tried to use my skinny today and was refused, went for the Olay Total Effects hand cream at £4.99 - thought they might say its not "facial" but was told instead that you can't use a £5 voucher on anything under £5. Is this new? I've certainly got freebies in the past - is this just another tighten up tactic?0

You cant use it on the handcream as its not a facial item0

I tried the night serus today, although in fairness I had forgotten about this thread and just thought that £6 was a bargain price and probably more benefit than the eye gel.
The SA on the till wasn't sure why it wouldn't go through. The SA next to her said that the supervisor needed to do an over-ride. But the supervisor said it couldn't be used because it was already marked down as it was in the old packaging. They pointed out that all the ones it could be used on now had little red labels above the SEL.
However, the SA who served me asked if I'd like the Olay Total Effects cleanser for only 89p as she had some on the till and had a spare voucher! How kind was that?! She also walked me over to the shelf to get the eye gel as she wanted to check that there was indeed no red label on the night serum and to make sure that I didn't have to queue all over again. Gold star to that lady!0 -
:jFinally managed to get Night Serum, was in real Bootsing mode and thought would also try get GWP with the reduced pedicure set and my extra points for just over a £50 spend, made up with other essentials & my mobile top up. All eventually worked although till was so sensitive, scanning things more than once, my shop totalled lot more than I expected at first, manager put through my skinnie fine, but I was so embarrassed when price of each item checked on another till thought may lose my GWP! Manager had to start all over again & as she did the SA heard my name announced for the prize draw, I had won Diesel gift set. So thankyou to all you lovely people, and the patient Manager & SA for my amazing shop. :beer:0

Wow! Great Bootsing, Tinyshoes!!!
Thanks Tara, and I got those hard to come by 250 points voucher in the GWP! Unfortunately ran out of time as had to pick up DD from the gym as would have gone back in to get the Olay Face wash for 86p. But think I did enough Bootsing for 1 day. Shelves were well stocked with the Time Delay Serum and Face Wash if anyone near Castlepoint, Bournemouth tomorrow.;)0
