  • Thanks to the OP, I managed to find this Serum during the weekend :j - however, my happiness was very short-lived when I took the said item to the till. I got a male SA who was completely clue-less as to what to do even though I explained fours times that it was a computer fault and that I am entitled to this product as it's not a cleanser etc. etc.. He then brought over a female SA who spent at least five whole minutes just staring at the till and pressing the odd button from time to time . Once again, I explained the same info to her but she just continued to say that she needed a few minutes to "work it out" whilst telling me that she's very slow with the tills and inplying that she's old and dodery!! I waited patiently and eventually she adjusted the till to reduce this product to a £1 - Hurray! However, when I got home and checked my receipt she had very sneekily reduced my Points so that I only gained 4 points for this particular item and not the full 24 Points everyone else has got :mad:. So all in all the 'old and dodery' routine she was giving me was a complete lie to cover up for her sneekiness in finding every-which-way possible to reduce my points total . I really hate that . Did she think the additional 20 Points I should have had was coming out of her own wages?? Rant over!
  • I'm so glad so many people have managed to take advantage of this glitch! Remember, the last day with the voucher is tomorrow. Hopefully we shall get something equally good next time round.

    xx
  • Oh I've just seen I had 74 people thank me for this glitch! My faith in human kindness is restored!

I took it to the till and the cashier started going on about how it wouldn't work if it was hand cream... yeah.. like night serum is classed as hand cream!?! Finally the cashier next to us told her to just put it through as a discount code so it worked AND i then got another £5 voucher haha i was so pleased lol so i went and got some Nivea total effects cream for 86p

thanks sooo much for posting this offer!

I was so pleased when I eventually found the serum but as I havent quite got the hang of these forums yet I dont think I thanked you in the right place. Have added my thanks now. :A

Really enjoy reading your posts SS, lets hope for some more bargains with the next voucher! :D
  • Well, to me, this is Boots glitches at their best! You get a lovely product for tuppence ha'penny, you get another voucher, you clear their shelves for them (!) and everyone's a winner!

    xx
  • Success! :j

Metro Centre Boots had loads of this serum today. I got 2 and there must have been about 20 on the bottom shelf of the Timedelay stand.

    Hope this helps someone.

    Thanks again Sandrascarlett:beer:

I had to really hold back going back for more as my local Boots only 1 mile away had none, but shopping centre 9 miles away had loads left but obviously not a bargain with that trip too many times. I did have great time on the last xmas shopping night and I posted earlier I even won the prize draw, gift worth £28 but without the hunt for the serum I would not have been there!!! x

As an SA you can't change the amount of points someone is getting for a purchase, don't be so paranoid!
