OMG thanks for this link, great to have this information to throw at him, he obviously thinks that i won't check. Thank goodness for this site and all you wonderful people!
I don't have any savings, I am safe...lol Funny thing is two weeks before he confessed he sold his two very expensive cars, but goodness knows where that money is???

Point out to him you'll take 50% of the equity in the house OR you will go for 50% of everything - including the money from his 2 expensive cars... Just explain to him that you know the facts etc and you are willing to not go for everything you're entitled to provided he stop faffing and telling porkies and cough the 50%... otherwise you'd rather let all the money go to a solicitor so long as you took every penny he had... scream it at the top of your lungs whilst highlighting that YOU are not the one who slept with 8 skanks and slappers whilst married.

(actually - you might not want me to point this out right now... but have you been to the STI clinic after finding out? I know he might have used condoms... but frankly I wouldn't trust him if he said grass was green... but that's just me)

MrsTine I think you'll find that it was NINE skanks and slappers, minimum. I think I'd be looking for least £10k per slapper, maybe £20k

How I laugh! £10k per slapper seems fair to me!

You are right I need to go to STD clinic, though I found his stash of condoms and lubricants in the garage the other day.....was disgusting and all sticky! He had hidden them with the car cleaning stuff, sick really cos he used to always joke that I never cleaned my car....I should of cleaned my car, i would have found out much sooner!
He moved out ages ago luckily otherwise I would put them somewhere where the sun does not shine!!

If he's needing lubricants he's obviously not arousing these women enough. Unless of course it's not females that he's trying to arouse! :rotfl:

Do you know i had not thought of that! Though he probably did need lubricants, he was meeting them in his lunch break or before I got home from work!
Though maybe men were on the agenda, who knows, i probably never will...lol

Lol@ B&T, sorry to laugh in this thread loz, but B&T is so funny, specially a previous post about sawing the motor bike.
You should change your nic to funnyandtwisted, as your sense of humour is fantastic, twisted I grant you , but also funny as hell, my type of humour, I love it.

Loz, stick to your guns, he is in the wrong not you, if and when it goes to court and its dragged up about the 8 affairs, do the think the judge will have any sympathy for him, no I dont think so, dont let the git get away with it.

And then decide if you're happy with £60k then make clear to him that once he coughs that to buy you out then you'll "forget" the rest and let him go on his merry way... because I have to be honest and say I think it's worth it to be shot of him My ex got our house (I was young and naive) when he dumped me - I got most of the debt. Oddly I still think that I got a good deal as I have only had to be civil to him once since (at his dads funeral) - so over all a bargain I think.

Can only agree that you are well rid of someone like that. I was married to a multiply unfaithful ,arrogant **** too, who also was a bully throughout sorting out the finances.

It took us 18 months to sort out. In the end I became so hardened to his selfishness that he ended up paying far more than he could have early on had he been reasonable.

Find a better solicitor. Remember 50% means 50% and that includes all assets so look at pensions, savings etc is well. With a good income he may have incurred more pension gain than you during the marriage.

To give you some encouragement, I am now with a lovely bloke who is so different from my ex hubby. I want to wish you all the best in finding some one decent in the future too x
