Thanks ever so much for this info.
I have just named a star after my father in law, who sadly passed away at the end of August, and I have made a certificate, which I will frame and give to my mother in law for Christmas.
I think its a wonderfully thoughtful present and I can't thank you enough :TStarting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs

Have you tried winning one of the John Smiths darts t-shirts.... you can enter for free online and it is personalised for free and sent within 45 dyas... it might just make it. It took me 4 days of constant entering every hour online, but I have got one for my OH, and some were lucky enough to win one straight away.
Where can I do this please? xxDebt Free by Xmas 2014!

I have been searching online for free stuff. Most are small samples but when you add them up and place them in a box they do look good and handy to store away.
I have in the past made heart shaped cookies, towered them and wrapped them in clear plastic and added ribbon - like most stores do but cheaper!!
Signed photo from his favourite celeb or tv star many of the sites have a direct address where you can write to the actor/actress and they send you a 6x4 signed photo.
I think it is a lovely idea and will be doing this next yr for my hubby...better start looking around from now on xDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Hi,
I tried to email Nivea about some samples, but they said they've run out. I phoned them as well and they said that samples only get made when new products come out.
They did say that I should keep checking the Nivea website, as they always advertise their samples and stuff on there. If you register for their newsletter, apparently it will tell you straight away when they have new samples that you can order.:j I'm gonna do that!
Hope that helps xx0 -

On the same lines, you can also send your name to Mars with NASA:

Plus, if you've got a suitable picture (either a photo or some appropriate image?) to use, maybe you can make a nice motivational poster with a customised personal or funny message:
http://bighugelabs.com/motivator.php
(make the poster using their instructions, then use 'save as...' to save the image & print it off)
Other things to try:
- LUSH: if there's one near you, they may give you some little samples (as with the other toiletry places).
- Freecycle: why not try looking at your local group & see if there are any bits you can use / fix up?
- Exhibitions: if you get the change to go to any free shows, such as at Earl's Court, Olympia & ExCel, they usually have lots of things being given away so you might find something suitable.
Good luck - great idea!0 -
