Just picked mine up from Enfield - our last dyson - a dc01 - was nearly 8 years old and on its last legs - I've vacuumed with the oldie and then the new 'beast' and the extra picked up is truly scary - the build quality and innovative touches seem excellent so far......thanks to the original poster for the tip - I and my family have made so much use of this site - it's becoming our shopping 'bible'

Many thanks for thr tip. I bought one from argos today. It has DC07 written over it. Even the manual which came with it says DC07. How can i know if its
DYSON Root8 DC07 Allergy Upright Vacuum Brush Control/HEPA
