I've tried countless types of diet pills over the years but I'm a bit older and wiser now. Don't think there's a miracle pill out there. I'm still dieting and have just started on a mammoth push to shed the excess pounds that have been creeping on AGAIN. I find regular diets quite restricting and counting calories is time consuming. I've started trying out some different brands of meal replacements as its easy to have these when I'm working and busy and then cook same meal for the whole family in the evening rather than me having to have something different. Anyone had good results with these meal replacements?
Unfortunately, they also won't work. This is because being overweight is caused not by Eating too much, but by Wanting too much. If "wanting too much" is not cured, your mind will go around any diet or meal replacement and will trick you into eating extra. Try to concentrate on what huge amount you WANT and look if this amount is normal. you can start with a normal question: suppose you could eat anything in any quantities without putting on weight. What, how much, and how ofter would you snack, eat, binge? Keep the answer very private - do not need to tell anybody. Most likely you will discover that you would wish to be eating all the time, and a lot. This would expose the root of the problem. If the you watch your "want" and note at what situation it increases - you will find a way to replace this want by other pleasures in life (like reading a magazine when you ought to write a worrysome letter). This will make you slim forever.

This is the only diet that works...
that isnt always the case ,my weight issues is caused by 20+ yrs of eating almost nothing during the day only in the evening ,my body apparently goes into starvation mode and stores anything i do eat so im in the process of kick starting my metabolism. so lets not assume all overweight people sit and stuff their faces from morning till night !This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I agree that you need to find out what works for you and your body. I think if youre sensible about diet plans you can make them work but you do need to stick to them and change other eating habits. I was stuffing myself full of carbs and sweets before I did celeb slim and apart from the actual weight loss it has helped me to think about the way I eat and ive changed some bad habits.0
