  • Some really offensive and unhelpful replies here!

No one is above being scammed, and no one feels more daft than when they fall for it.

    Helpful advice would be good.

You really need to call the company and cancel the subscription you don't even know you made and hope to hell they don'e give your details to another of their ventures, who will then help themselves to your money.

    Good luck

  • Gosh I was about to go into a tirade about persons of an unweildly girth and end up with a red card, then I saw the tooth whitening and the age of the post.

Fot not saying spam makes yous a fatty, I have saved me sen from a red card. Just.

    Spam reported, hope thsi helps.

(Freddie is afraid that he cannot comment on the diet pills because he did recieve a yellow card for mentioning setees, potatos, backs and legs.)
  • I've tried countless types of diet pills over the years but I'm a bit older and wiser now. Don't think there's a miracle pill out there. I'm still dieting and have just started on a mammoth push to shed the excess pounds that have been creeping on AGAIN. I find regular diets quite restricting and counting calories is time consuming. I've started trying out some different brands of meal replacements as its easy to have these when I'm working and busy and then cook same meal for the whole family in the evening rather than me having to have something different. Anyone had good results with these meal replacements?

You'll properly better off starting a thread in the families board.

Then there the stupidity of buying chemicals to put in your body without a clue of where they come, what they have been tested on, what is in them. Many of these pills are Chinese and have been shown to contain high levels of heavy metal and I don't mean the music kind.

Ah if only you could take a pill to enjoy the rhythms of Pantera and Metallica :D

Theres been a lot of reports of pills such as these causing kidney failure & cancer of the urinary tract & bladder. Its very very foolish to take anything that hasnt been officially tested and approved.

On the monetary side of it, the law should be changed IMO so any web site must make subscription charges clear. They rely on people not reading the T&Cs properly with the charges buried deep in the small print.

Changing the Law would only work in the UK.

The OP bought from the US (assumed by stating $ instead of £). You can't impose our laws on foreigners, it's like saying we should ban fake goods from China.
  • Yes I agree, I wouldn't go down the diet pill route as I'd be too scared about what was in them. I've just started on celebrity slim meal replacements and I find it's good for me as I've got breakfast and lunch easily organised as I don't have a lot of time with working. Just done a few days but the bars and really quite delicious and with a snack between meals I'm just as full as when I wasn't on the diet.

ive tried to lose weight for 20+ yrs after being reffered to a specialist centre in my area ive started to change how i think ,im not on a diet but ive lost 10lbs in a very short time . the system they use is the paul mckenna one and i can 100% recommend it . its not a diet you can eat the same as the rest of the family but follow the basic guidlines and it will work.

  • Oh no, i wouldn't try diet pills, far too wary about what goes into those things as youve got no idea of the scruples of people who make them and are just out for profits.
