SLIM TABLETS! CHARGES HIDDEN "free Trial"

:mad:I bought some slimming tablets off a website..... looked good, said watch out for SCAM company's etc..... entered my personal details and offered me these tablets.....
Website said FREE TRIAL P&P - $9.99.. what had I got to loose.... registered, got T&C in white writting and purple background HEADACHE to read, so left it..... no worried FREE TRIAL !...
Had product 13th Oct - charge £12.96 P&P THEN on 3rd November AFTER the 14 day "free trial" I was charged $87.56 !!!!!
NONE of these charges were on website, charged after the Trial, which if I knew and would of returned before the 14 days was up !......
Just a complete con, good website, no charges BUT WARNING!!!!! NO MATTER HOW HARD OR LONG THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE " read them........ £56.00 for a month supply of tablets that I haven't been taking, so i better now and bloody hope the work !..... gutted !

After the first 14 days, they cost and you were charged.

You knew this.

Diet pills from the internet, I thought people had warned about them for ages!

I had the same problem - I replied to a free trial offer advertisement for a health supplement (not a diet pill)which only required postage and packing to be paid for. I was billed £47.50 for P & P which I immediately queried and cancelled. The goods were still sent out and of course I didn't get my refund. Interestingly, the goods are posted too late for you to send them back within the given time frame to qualify for a refund if you are not satisfied.
That was my bad luck but what I didn't bargain for was that this company gives away your credit card details to other companies who deduct money every month! It's taken me ages to get this stopped as they keep changing the company names! Apparently you have agreed to this immediately you click on the link to apply for the free trial . More fool me but this really needs shouting from the rooftops to warn everyone who might be taken in by a free trial offer.

I'm afraid I fell for a similar ad on the side of my Facebook page but for an anti aging face cream - so far has cost me 115.00 for 2 small tubes of cream.:embarasse My CC company were very good and have helped me cancel as they say it is the most frequent cause of 'unrecognised transactions'. Never again

Honestly you have no idea. I work within disputes for the bank and im totally amazed at the amount of people that have signed up for this.

There are lots of various sites all pretty much linked.

People seem to just give their card details to anything and i think expect the bank to sort the mess. They then claim its fraud and all sorts.

If you are entering any "trial" on the internet sure enough 99.99% of the time if you dont cancel you are going to be charged on an ongoing basis. the excuse I didnt read the terms and conditions isnt valid im afraid.

This is coming from someone that dealt with what 50 of these issues today.... and getting ready to slit my wrists if i keep getting them .

Thought on the good side for anyones reference. You can basically chargeback the transactions for anything 4841, 4855, 4853,4860 i have seen none of them represent I dont think they care is so much as they are getting so much cash of people for these charges that people arent able to claim back.

Please for the love of all things holy dont sign up for any teeth whitening formula Acai berry pills wuyi tea or anything crap american site. From what i read its all crap and doesnt work anyways.
