Phone/broadband needed

I'm just about to buy a house again, this time on my bill, so want the best deal for me. I only want Phone and broadband. After my split with ex,I moved back in with folks and I convinced them to save cash by switching to Talk Talk, free anytime uk and international calls and unlimited(in reason) broadband. Now I have found a house I'm buying with only me footing the bills so after best plan, but talk talks 20quid deal has gone, anyone any recomendations, I would like to be able to get out for a pint once in a while,lol.so money is tight
Any help/advice anyone could give would be greatly helped.
Ive looked at various sights but it looks like prices over year have escalted.

Plus do I have to sign up to Bt for god knows how many months before I can do owt, ive just looked at tiscali's tv,phone and broadband package and could go for that if anyone could recomend it.

I hope you've told your parents not to change their TT contract if they phone -they will phone them at some time. TT's great deals have dried up IMO but saying that you might want to check your parents still need that particular deal too.

No they tt rang to offer a change on their account but they said no, I've checked their account details and they are still on the good deal.
I just want a phone and broadband package for about 20-25 notes.
enough to be able to get decent stream on net when watching stuff, as I delve further into it all the tiscali one is looking like a good option.
But I guess I will need to speak to bt first to get a phone line in.

BT don't install phone lines mind -they use OpenReach, who also provide services to other providers too.

BT can do some good contract deals if the install is expensive (and they do it for "free") but their broadband is very very poor and for only the most basic user. When I say basic, I mean your granny's granny.

100s of posts just like yours so it's worth doing a wee search.

I would avoid Tiscali.

Did you click on my link to see which providers are available? Work out exactly what you need. Then people can comment.

For a minute there, I thought you were going to says pounds BT's ADSL prices are expensive and I mean that in £££s, poor supply (slow down) and very very tight download and upload limits. They're quite useless for the serious Internet user unless you have very deep pockets to pay their charges.

They do some nice TV adverts though.

I am quite happy with the broadband the folks have and want best package for phone too, I do not want pay per view Tv, Happy with freeview.

A good thing I recommend for people is O2 Simplicty http://shop.o2.co.uk/tariffs/SIMONLY/benefits/Online_25#Online_25 or just get any old O2 sim and register it with O2 then sign up for their broadband giving you dirt cheap ADSL2.

I make all my calls via mobile so that's a good deal for me but I have basic BT line rental on top of that. Again, that's the best for me and you'd need to work out exactly what you need (or want or can afford).

If I tried to guess every permutation I'd be here for hours
