I don't get any warnings, but now there isn't any money in my paypal account :(

There wasn't any in there to begin with though.

So, think how much money MSE has saved you. :)

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

  • I dumped facebook this week because I had been hacked into (at the facebook end) and someone was using my profile to sent out abusive posts, when I did a google "facebook hacking" I was amazed what came up loads of sites telling everyone how to hack into facebook, what a sick world.

chrome warned me too i told it where to go

Chrome was warning you for a reason!

I'd suggest downloading Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (search Google) and scanning your computer. It's free and you'll probably be surprised by the outcome.

    Hi folks,

Sadly we are being periodically attacked by hackers trying to put code into the site, each time we've detected it at speed and got rid of it.

If your anti-virus does flag something up - please report it in the this site board - as its useful to know so we can double check if its real.

And sorry about this - its frustrating to know some people are deliberately trying to do something like this.

    Martin,

These are not 'real' people, as such.

I'd ask your technical team (and anyone else with FTP access to the site) to scan their machines with anti-virus, anti-spyware and anti-malware software.

Also, a quick search of Google for 'Gumblar' will probably be of use.

    Or Mint.
Other operating systems are available, as you have occasionally pointed out in previous posts. :D
    Move along, nothing to see.
