    I think it might have been down to an advert on the forum home page. All the other pages were ok afaik. Used AVG for a long time and haven't had this problem on this site before. I'd say it was due to someone trying to hack the site rather than avg itself.
    There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

    If I load the site up again and ignore the warnings I too can't scroll down to the end.
    the information given in the link earlier says that we should have anti virus etc. well I have that and have always had it. Being very cynical and looking at the wording advising me to install the tool bar for avg makes me wonder if it's just a ploy to get me to do just that.
    Can I ask again if anybody else who has downloaded the avg 9 version is experiencing slower download. Mine is dreadful and I use CCleaner as well as Defragger on a regular basis.
    Sarah.

    I Have got all the same software as you and I download the odd torrent, download speed is good but I do keep things tidy after using CC with this: http://download.cnet.com/Comodo-Registry-Cleaner/3000-2094_4-10895685.html
    Its pretty good at keeping things tidy!!
    I must, I must, get my post average up to 1 a day!! :D

    Er, does this mean it's only safe to use MSE with a Mac, now? :confused:

    As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
    you'd now be better off living in one.

    I got it twice yesterday using 8.5, not uploaded 9 yet. Shut pc down and left it for an hour or so and been OK since then.

    Strange :confused::confused::confused:

    Hi folks,

    Sadly we are being periodically attacked by hackers trying to put code into the site, each time we've detected it at speed and got rid of it.

    If your anti-virus does flag something up - please report it in the this site board - as its useful to know so we can double check if its real.

    And sorry about this - its frustrating to know some people are deliberately trying to do something like this.
