That's the message I keep getting from AVG Free version 9 which I downloaded about a week ago to my regret. I have used 8.5 and previous versions with no problems until I did the latest version. I was about to post and ask if anyone else was having problems with slow download speeds since upgrading when the above message came up.
Am I the only one experiencing this. Let me know please. Thanks for reading.
Sarah
Same problem here, using AVG 8.5 and I get the warning on firefox and ie8."Who’s that tripping over my bridge?" roared the Troll.
"Oh, it’s only me, the littlest Billy-goat Gruff and I’m going off to the hills to make myself fat"0 -
I got the same warning when I logged on. Has this got anything to do with the site being down earlier?
As I'm not that knowledgeable about this sort of thingis it actually safe to just use the site as normal?
Same as others I have firefox and AVG 9.0 -
I just got that!He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

Just disable the Link Scanner and uninstall the AVG Security Toolbar.

My guess would be that it's due to the site going down earlier and it will be corrected tomorrow without you doing anything, especially as several different programs are flagging this as a problem. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
